1. Meet an every growing demand for high speed “get rich now” products. Meet this need instantly.

2. No need to deal with stock, warehouse space, or customer support issues.

3. Instant tracking of sales and statistics, it is fully automated

4. No worries about pricing as it is predetermined.

How you can profit as an affiliate?

Choose the right product

Make sure the product has a high enough commission rate for you to cover all your advertising costs. Generally, never promote product with a commission less then 50% on clickbank.

Availability of resources

Check out the affiliates page. How much effort has the publisher put in providing resources for you? Does his care? Is his email in there? This is important because you can then separate a good vendor from a lousy one.

Check the sales page

How convinced are you to buy? Does he have strong testimonials? Proof of earnings? How convinced are you to buy? More importantly, does he have an “affiliates” or “make money” link on his sales page? If he does have it, it is good for you!

People do not like to buy from a site which they know they were referred from. Removing this link can increase your commission by over 10%!

Responsiveness

Test the responsiveness of the vendor. You can do this by emailing him and asking general questions about affiliate marketing and how he/she can help you with it. Do remember though, some vendors are very busy people and may not have the time to respond to every email.

Ready Made Promotional Materials

Are there many readily made promotional materials available? Are there any ad copies, articles or other resources that can help you start making money immediately?

Factor in all these elements and slowly start to choose the product to promote. Do not rush though!

Should You Pay to Join a Business Opportunity?

Friday, February 29th, 2008

If you spend any time online, surfing the Internet, or even if you spend any time reading magazines that deal with business topics, you will more than likely run across countless business opportunity offerings.

Business opportunities are in essence, “turn-key” operations, where a major company, or even a smaller company, is offering what are basically franchises or memberships in the company. Any person that joins, becomes entitled to use the company name, company marketing materials, and of course, company reputation. It is therefore, an easy way for many who have no inclination to start their own business, or who have no ideas of their own, to start a home-based business.

There are, however, as in anything, “pitfalls” and “advantages” to joining any type of business opportunity. Many times, one of the “pitfalls” is the fact that there is a membership price to pay when joining, which depending upon the business opportunity, can be quite a staggering fee. It is wise, then, before paying any fees to join a business opportunity to research and ascertain the following aspects of the opportunity:

1. How long is the business opportunity “in business″? Longevity is important. You don’t want to join a biz op that’s “here today, gone tomorrow″, taking your fees with it!

2. How do other members feel about the business opportunity? If you can speak with other members, this would help immensely in any decisions.

3. How much money overall can you expect to make from the business opportunity within the first month? You should at least be able to recover any fees you′ve spent within the first few months.

4. How many others belong to the business opportunity? Too much competition with other members will make it difficult to make sales, while too few members indicates that it is not a popular business opportunity, so how can it be sold?

5. How often will you be paid? Some only pay when an associate reaches a certain amount of revenue (which if you’re a newbie will tie up your money quite conceivably for a while).

6. Are there any “undisclosed” extra fees, such as fees for checks or other payment methods? This will cut into net revenues.

7. Is there a money-back guarantee? If you don’t succeed, will the business opportunity supply at least a partial refund?

8. Does the business opportunity supply mentors and marketing materials that can be used? It’s easier to start and maintain a business opportunity with these components already in place.

9. How well known is the business opportunity? Whether it’s online or offline, some business opportunities are “household” names and are easier to promote and sell as a result.

10. What is the turnover rate in the business opportunity? Those that have a large turnover rate among members are usually poor choices. Turnover means simply the number of members that leave the biz op within each month. A large turnover usually indicates that members are not happy with their experiences.

11. How much overall does it cost? You need to be able to comfortably afford the fee of the business opportunity, or you will start out “in the red” which is not a good way to start any home-based business.

12. How much control does the corporate entity have? If everything is controlled by the corporate entity (the “home” office of the business opportunity, so to speak), your creativity and the way you market may be hampered severely.

There are many business opportunities from which to pick. Everything from larger scale offline ventures, to smaller scale online ventures exists. Research into all the above is necessary when choosing an appropriate business opportunity. Fees are sometimes necessary to cover the costs of shipping and handling, or the costs of the marketing materials. Others charge fees simply because their “name” is important to them as they have spent years building their reputation, and they only want “serious joiners”.

There also exist many free opportunities that cost nothing to join and can be a good way to experiment with marketing and the world of home-based business.

The choice of whether to pay or not is an individual choice that should only be made when weighing all possible factors. If in doubt, simply research and patiently wait a while. After all, the biz op will always be there tomorrow (if it’s a good one)!

Should You Stay Away From Free Paid Surveys?

Friday, February 29th, 2008

When someone first learns about the opportunity of paid surveys online, and about the many different websites that sell information on where to find them, they tend to shy away from spending any money and look for free paid survey opportunities.

In some ways, it’s a wise decision to not spend any money at first… especially if you’re not sure if you need to pay for information that you may be able to find for free.

But something you need to be aware of when it comes to free paid surveys, are the many companies out there who lure you in with the promise of paid surveys, but secretly just want to add your name to a direct mail or telemarketing list.

These companies are well aware of the appeal that making money online from your own home has to people. And some companies exploit this, be promising paid surveys, but really just sending you lots of junk mail.

Many people think the scam artists are the people who charge for the paid survey information, but this isn’t always the case. I’m sure there are a few junk sites that sell information that you could find for free, but many of the paid survey membership sites actually provide a lot of extra value in the form of support forums, advice, and bonus software to help you fill out forms quicker.

However, I know that many people treat paid surveys as just a few extra dollars a month, and as such, they don’t want to have to invest anything in the form of start-up money. In this case, you can still get a few paid surveys coming to your inbox from free paid survey sites. Just make sure that you don’t fall for a “free paid survey” scam from some internet pop-up or spam email.

All Successful Entrepreneurs Have This

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

All successful entrepreneurs have this one thing in common!(TIME INVESTED) Everyone wants to have wealth, enjoy life, and be able to retire at an early age! To do this you must first work hard at a business plan over a few years. You start your business at the bottom and work your way up. People see ads and hype where successful entrepreneurs have made thousands of dollars in 24 hours. This may be true, but they have been in business more than 24 hours! They have built their business over a period of time, and have been through some low and dark times to get where they are at today. All successful entrepreneurs have invested in there share of time. So you can be successful to if you start with a good business plan, and stick to it through the highs and the lows. You must have Patience and not lose site of your Goals!

Home-Based Business - Why You Should Consider Having One!

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Why even consider a Home-Based Business?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that out of 100 people that start working at the age of 25, by the age of 65…

1 is wealthy

4 have enough money to retire

63 depend on Social Security or charity

29 are deceased

What’s shocking about these statistics is …95% of people, age 65 and over cannot afford to retire …many will be forced to work until they die!! What Happened to Safety and Security? That’s why many of us no longer put our trust and faith in “Big Business.”

In J. Paul Getty’s book “How To Get Rich,” his first rule for success is, “You must be in business for yourself. You will never get rich working for someone else.”

This may be one reason why, according to Home Incorporated, every 10 seconds in the USA someone starts a home business. Tens of thousands of people are waking up to the fact that there is a better way to make a living.

Home-based Business is a $30 Billion a Year Industry! Yes, you read that right — $30 Billion a year!

When you look at the numbers, that’s more than the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, consumer goods industry - combined! Why? Because of the sheer numbers of people in business at home, the computer age makes training fast ,distribution with out inventories and Online Business Systems designed to make you a team Member.

Here is a list of what a Home Business can provide.

Build a steady stream of income that can keep growing month after month, year after year.

Have the very real possibility to retire much sooner than you ever imagined …and with a significant continuing income.

Enjoy dream vacations 2 to 3 times a year, paid by your own company.

Build the future of your dreams with the income to make it happen.

Enjoy tax advantages that may save you thousands each year.

Take the time you want to enjoy life and have more than enough money to enjoy it all!

People choose to Work from Home for several reasons including the desire to stay home with their children, the need for extra income, or simply being dissatisfied with their current job. A Home-Based Business will provide you with an exciting way to earn money and to be your own boss! Numerous opportunities are available, but how do you know which opportunities are for you?

When starting your home-based business you should develop a business plan and research your options thoroughly. Don’t get dragged into unrealistic claims by various people that let you start without a plan and expect thousands of dollars every month. Making wise decisions and following your business plan each step of the way can help you in creating a steady stream of income. Starting a home-based business will require work. You will not become wealthy over night. It will take determination to succeed as an internet marketer. The amount of money you make will be directly related to the amount of work you are willing to do.

Joining affiliate programs is an excellent start. There are affiliate programs that will automate everything for you. The learning curve is shortened. There are also other internet marketing offers that will create a steady income if you are willing to make the effort. Many of these opportunities require an initial investment from you. Do a careful and systematic research of these internet marketing opportunities.

As an internet marketer, you will have to distinguish yourself from the competition if you want to succeed. You should know your target audience and what they want, know your competition even better. Know the latest technology that will help you in your business. Many internet entrepreneurs overwork because they do not use the right tools or technology in running their businesses. Planning, hard work and smart execution will make your home-based business a success and provide you with a steady stream of income.

Starting a home-based business is one of the most exciting and challenging endeavors you will ever undertake! A sound business plan and the will to succeed will set you apart from the competition. Choose the products or services you provide carefully. Make certain your services will be needed over the long term and make customer service your top priority. A loyal customer base is the key to the success or failure of your home-based business. A home-based business is an excellent way to gain independence and financial freedom!

Freedom! The Battle Cry of the Business Owner

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

“I wanted freedom from a boss so I started my own business. Now I need freedom from my business because it’s running my life.” Sound like you?

Here are three tips to help you find that freedom.

1. Put your stake in the ground.

Where are you headed with your business? Can’t answer because you’re too busy working on yesterday’s problems? Stop and do it now. Much of your freedom is being eaten up by activities that won’t get you where you want to go. Define where that is and work toward it.

2. Set boundaries.

Don’t take on work that steals time you should be dedicating to focusing on sales of your core product or service. Sometimes you just have to say “no.” Be careful about performing business functions that “don’t cost anything.” Put a dollar value on your time. Outsource. It will cost you less in the long run.

3. Take action.

Talking and thinking about doing things that will grow your business are necessary. Writing them down and making them happen is even better. Identify the critical steps you must take now to get closer to the freedom you seek.

Five-Minute Fitness - Quick Ideas for Keeping Fit When Working at Home

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

One of the most difficult things about working at home is scheduling a proper fitness routine. If you are a Work At Home Mother and are having to contend with kids, housework and running a business too, you will have to make a special effort to schedule some exercise into your day. I find the best way of doing so is to squeeze in as many five minute bursts of activity as I can, either with the kids or without, and to try to make them fun too.

If the kids are at home:

Put the baby in the pushchair and the kids on bikes or scooters and take a brisk walk around the block. Getting outside into the open air will improve everybody’s state of mind and mood. Walk fast to exercise your cardiovascular system (and keep up with the kids!) and you will return home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Have a five minute tidy up! Set the kitchen timer, put some music on, and get everybody running around the house to pick up toys, books, clothes and shoes and return them to their proper places. Make it fun and the kids will enjoy it and willingly join in. Make it fast and you might even improve your fitness too!

What is the weather like? Can you take the kids out into the yard (garden) for a five minute run-around? Run races, do some star jumps, and just mess around. If you can’t get outside, clear a space and do a five minute exercise routine with the kids indoors. Make it a daily event, and vary the routine to include walking and running on the spot, skipping, star jumps, stretches and bends, making faces, shaking out your fingers and toes - whatever you and the kids will enjoy!

During school term time:

Walk the kids to and from school. This is a great way to spend some quality time with your kids, is much less stressful than driving, and helps them arrive at school in the best mood for their day too. Can you jog or run home afterwards? If you live too far away from school to walk, perhaps you could park a little way away and walk the last bit (which will help you avoid school congestion too).

If the kids are at school and you are rushing to get something done before the school day ends, you can spend far too much time in your office and quickly get stale! Sometimes you just have to force yourself to take that break. even if end-of-school is looming. Try walking out of the front door with watch in hand and time yourself for 2.5 minutes. Stop, turn around, and go back home again. You will feel much better for it and be refreshed when you sit back down at your desk.

If you have time on your own:

Break your day up - and make sure that you plan your breaks in advance. I keep it simple by scheduling a five minute break every hour. If I am very engrossed in a project I sometimes set a beeper to remind me! I have a list of five minute activities to do and during a full work at home day I will probably achieve 6 or 7 of them.

Do you have stairs? Climb them! Time yourself and keep going for five minutes, no less. If you don′t have stairs, buy a mini-step machine. They don′t cost much, are easy to store in a corner, and they work!

No time to get out and about? Stretch! I have a card on the wall behind my monitor with the word “STRETCH!” printed on it in huge letters. When I get involved in a project I sometimes hardly look up from my keyboard and monitor for hours - but when I do, and notice the card, I remember to stand up, stretch everything out and take a 5-minute breather. Try standing about two feet away from your desk, bending at the waist and placing your hands on the edge of the desk to help support your body. Hold for thirty seconds and then stand up straight and take several deep breaths. Repeat twice more. Stretching out your back like this help release tension in the spine and shoulders. Shake out your arms and fingers, then your feet stretch up tall and then touch your toes and do whatever else it takes to ease out those kinks!

Keep some tennis balls in a desk drawer and squeeze one in each hand as hard as you can for 10 second bursts. This is a great exercise to do when you have been typing for too long. Take those same tennis balls and roll them around under your feet (taking your shoes off first!) This is almost ridiculously pleasurable! (Tip: keep the tennis balls hidden away and out of reach to prevent them mysteriously disappearing from your office and reappearing in the car, garden or toy cupboard).

Try a five minute resistance band workout. Resistance bands are cheap, easy to store, and effective - and can be used to exercise many different areas of the body. Follow the instructions that come with the resistance band for a quick exercise routine - or try a search on Google for ideas. You can achieve quite a lot in five minutes with these.

Dumbbells are another good investment for a quick exercise routine. Get a range of weights and a storage rack, but make sure that they are stored safely away from children, who should NEVER play with them. Learn a quick dumbbell routine for the arms, back and shoulders. Personally I love bicep curls - they make me feel powerful! Find your favorite exercise and schedule it into your day.

Finally - and I hesitate to mention this one - a five minute stint of housework can break your work routine and, if you do it energetically enough - can be part of your fitness regime! I try to make these little spurts of housework into a time challenge and I schedule them into my day. For example, on Thursdays at 11.00am I might strip the beds. First, I open up ITunes and put one of my favorite tracks on. Then I run round like a mad thing trying to strip down 3 sets of beds, get the first lots of sheets into the washer and sit back down at the computer before the track ends. It may sound silly, but it makes housework a little more fun and less of a chore. A five minute sweep, vacuum or mop, if done energetically, can count towards your daily exercise and make you feel virtuous and house-proud too!

10 Money-Saving Tips for Home Businesses

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

One of the most common obstacles many home-based working moms face is trying to start or run a new business on a limited budget. The first few years of a business are usually the hardest financially. Some moms leave full-time careers and substantial salaries to start a new business. Others start a home business as stay-at-home moms wanting additional income to support their family as well as a professional outlet to balance their diaper-changing days.

In either case, starting and running a home-based business takes money. How much money will depend partly on you and the type of business you choose to run.

Below are our top 10 tips to save you and your home business money:

1. Do your own market research by talking to potential clients or customers. Many new home business owners skip this step only to come back to it later (or wish they had). Those who start businesses without doing any type of research, risk the possibility of their target market not needing or wanting their particular product or service. The competition may be too fierce, or there may not be enough potential customers to support the business. Or perhaps, the product isn’t priced correctly. It is just as important not to price your product too low as it is not to price it too high. Talk to others in similar businesses as yours to see how much they charge and what they offer for that price.

2. Team up with other non-competitive businesses that target the same market to do some co-marketing. For example, desktop publishers and print shops can do a direct mail campaign together advertising both of their services or buy an ad in a local publication and split the costs. Neither is in competition with the other. They also can hand out business cards or flyers for one another as well as give word-of-mouth referrals. It’s a great way to double one’s marketing efforts while splitting any advertising costs.

3. When you have a satisfied customer, don’t be afraid to ask for referrals. People like to help others especially new businesses trying to succeed. Show pride in your work and people are sure to notice, and when they do, ask if they know any others you can send a brochure or sample to. Another great way to encourage referrals is to offer a discount or special offer for any customers who are referred to you.

4. Barter or trade your services for other products or services you need. Associations and organizations are not only great places to network; they are also great for finding businesses that offer services and products you need. Look for businesses you could help with your product or service and offer to barter or trade for theirs. (Be sure to check with your tax professional for tax issues involving bartering and trading.)

5. Find another home-based working mom to swap babysitting with. All home-based working moms need some dedicated time to work on their business tasks. By swapping with another mom, each can work on their businesses without adding to their childcare costs.

6. When buying new office equipment, go to a place that offers a low-price guarantee. You can save time and money by shopping at places that will refund any difference in price if you find the product cheaper elsewhere.

7. If you are looking for computer equipment, consider buying used equipment. Look in the classifieds and talk to others that may know someone looking to upgrade. Ask for warranty information and make sure the machine is in good working condition. Also take a look at the computer companies offering refurbished machines. Some are priced accordingly and usually come with some type of warranty.

8. Send postcards for direct mail solicitation. They are cheaper to print and less expensive to mail. Another advantage is that they are more likely to be read since they take no effort to open.

9. If you hire sales help, pay by commission only so you only spend money if you make money. A salesperson can increase your sales without adding any up-front fees or salaries.

10. Use pre-printed design papers for letterhead, brochures and business cards if you only need a small amount. The papers can be found at most large office supply stores, and they are great for new businesses trying to get started on a small budget.

Lesley Spencer, the founder of Home-Based Working moms ( hbwm.com) has helped thousands of moms start their businesses in the 10 years that she has been in business. Their group provides networking, support, media opportunities, and more. By actively being involved in such a group you also increase your chances of success because of the power and support that she offers and the opportunity to network with other professionals. Getting connected with positive “winners” in the entrepreneurial world is just another way to succeed.

These money-saving ideas should help with your budget but new business
owners also need plenty of drive and determination to succeed. It takes time to develop and grow a business. So be patient and give it all you’ve got!
