I Love MLM

I Like MLM Opportunities But……….

I love the potential earnings that I can realize from MLM opportunities, and I know there are lots of other people who feel the way I do also. I know this because I receive dozens of postcards, tapes and booklets promoting all kinds of MLM companies every week.

This over whelming amount of mail promoting MLM’s seems to be growing every week. I have a box full of tapes that these nice people have sent me, and another box of booklets and post cards. I save them not because I am considering joining any new programs, because I am already involved in MLM, and I am happy with my companies products, services and commissions

The reason I save them is because I try to see how long these nice people stay with their MLM company before they are sending out materials for another great company. It seems that some of these people are switching companies about as often as I change my socks.

Every mailing piece claims they will make you big money fast. Take a look at some of the promises I have received lately.

WE WILL BUILD YOUR DOWNLINE FOR YOU

TIRED OF WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE ?

MAKE MONEY WHILE LYING ON THE BEACH

It is really amazing that none of the headlines really tell you that you must work hard at this business to be successful. I am not naive I know that headlines are supposed draw the readers attention and get their interest. that is why we never will see a headline that says

WORK YOUR BUTT OFF AND SPEND MONEY TRYING TO RECRUIT OTHERS TO DO THE SAME, WHILE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY FOR MAYBE 2 OR 3 MONTHS, AND SOME CASES EVEN LONGER.

I know that the response rate would be zero for a ad like that, but that is a lot closer to the truth than any of the other headlines. But people do not really want to hear the truth, they would rather be romanced into a get rich quick, with little or no effort opportunity. So if you want to sign people up into your downline you must glamorize the company. Flash those big checks from your upline, and don’t forget to show the pictures of the big houses and flashy cars. That is what people want to see.

Don’t show them the distributor who is making hundreds of copies of the promotional materials, and stuffing hundreds of envelopes, and licking all those stamps.
And buying the mailing lists, and then getting one or two responses to the mailing. All that work and so little to show for it. And just because you get a few responses doesn’t mean that the people are going to sign up with you. Some people just like to get mail.

You may think that I am anti MLM, but nothing could be further from the truth, what I am is anti HYPE. It really bothers me to see the type of advertising that is being used to recruit distributors. The industry has a high failure rate as we all know. I blame the big hype for a large part of the failure and then I blame the people who are looking for a get rich quick scheme. When they find out MLM is not a get rich quick business they drop out fast.

MLM is a business, so let’s treat it like one. As my daughter often says GET REAL. There are many people making some serious money in this business, but they also spent some serious time and effort into building the business. This is one of the few businesses that people can start for less than $100. in some cases, and have a chance to make as much money as a Lawyer or Doctor. But you must be ready to learn the business and spend some serious time working it. If you are not prepared for that you are better off playing the lottery and hoping for the big hit someday. People don’t seem to mind throwing money away on lottery tickets week after week. But they won’t put the same kind of money into building a home business, that has a better chance of success, GO FIGURE.

The Most Valuable Asset in Network Marketing!

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

If you are in the world of network marketing and trying to establish yourself, you have no doubt, heard of the many objections and negative thoughts people have about the world of network marketing. While there are many viable and honest network marketing programs all over the internet today, it’s image cannot help but become tarnished by the fraudulent and dishonest claims that have plagued Network Marketing for several years.

Pyramid schemes, which are fraudulent forms of network marketing, have created a great deal of hesitation in people all over the world. Therefore, when you approach anyone about your MLM opportunity, you are likely going to find a multitude of objections, particularly because many people think you want their money and you are going to run away with it.

The most valuable assets you can possess in network marketing are honesty and integrity. People are generally, by nature, trusting people until they have been burned, had a family member burned, or even a friend or associate burned. It is your job as a network marketer to gain their trust. You cannot expect a stranger who has heard all the negative stories about network marketing or affiliate programs to trust you just because you say they should — you have to earn it.

HONESTY

To build trust in people you meet and try to recruit into your network marketing business, you have to have the trait of honesty. If you are not honest, people can generally sense it. For example, if you tell people they can earn ‘THOUSANDS’ overnight, they are going to know you are being less than honest, in an instant. Here are some ways to portray honesty in your network marketing business:

1. Always be upfront about the earning possibilities. Do not exaggerate. If you have made
thousands in a month or a few months, it is acceptable to say that. However, if you have only made a hundred or so in a month, you need to let them know that as well. Every person knows that it takes a while to generate income it does not always come easy.

2. Provide Proof. If you are promoting success in a short amount of time, prove it. You can provide copies of bank statements or email records (With personal information deleted or crossed out of course). No person will believe what you have to say, if you cannot back it
up with data and documentation.

3. Do not claim to make money without having to work at it. Unless you win the lottery, you
cannot generate a profit without having to do some work, and not even then. With the
lottery you have to purchase the ticket, choose the numbers (unless you choose quick pick),
and of course it is not free. Do not mislead potential network marketers they generally go into it knowing they have to put forth some effort.

4. Stories ‘sell’ hype ‘fails’. Tell your story. When speaking with people in person, over the
internet, tell them your story and how you experienced success. However, you should be
honest about it. If you struggled with network marketing for years before creating your
specific program, it took you a while to create and implement, and still did not see a profit
for a longer period of time, you need to say this. People will generally listen, if you are
genuine. If you feed them hype, chances are you will hit a brick wall with them.

5. Of course, you have to be compelling and create an interest in your system. Just be honest
about it – it’s the best policy!

INTEGRITY

Honesty and integrity go hand in hand. If you expect to become a success as a network marketer within the world of the internet, integrity is a key factor. Let us look at a few ways that people expect integrity.

1. If you promise something, keep the promise. As an example, if you tell your customers you
will personally show them how to succeed, you had better do it. If you offer any type of
promise, it is imperative that you make good of it. You will lose clients and potentials quick
as nothing, if you fail to keep promises.

2. If you offer a guarantee to refund money if they are not satisfied. Refund the money right
away; of course, you can request information as to why they are not satisfied in efforts to
improve your program and system.

3. Build relationships with recruits based on complete honesty.

4. Promote only solid and real products and services

In conclusion, you cannot hope to become successful in network marketing without possessing the traits of both honesty and integrity. You will find much more success if you keep both at the forefront in your business.

Freelancing Accelerates Ahead!

Business beyond Boundaries

As businesses race ahead in search of increased profits and
larger markets, they increasingly need to hire experts with minimal training & management costs. They also want to retain the freedom of employment flexibility i.e. ability to change experts on hire, should the business plans change suddenly. Hence freelance experts are a smart decision for a growing
majority of corporate in to today’s era of globalization where people talent and not geography is the limiting factor. These freelance experts are hired across levels, departments and countries where technology is fully harnessed to share insights/knowledge/expertise in a mutually beneficial relationship.

As the world of virtual/freelance employees gains momentum businesses everywhere are recognizing the benefits of this democratic way of working. What’s driving
this trend? Business owners are discovering that there’s often a better value for their dollar when they hire freelancers. And they’re able to choose from an almost unlimited field of skill-sets for each specific project they need help with. With the freelance industry worth millions of dollars worldwide, as a
freelancer, you have the ability to start a profitable business with a very low investment as well as have the flexibility to work almost anywhere, anytime.

Omnipresent Freelancing

More recently, however, a more fundamental change in the organization of work has been made, encapsulated in the concept of continuous change in the flexible firm. In this workplace of today which thrive on continuous improvement of
quality and productivity thanks to empowered freelance / consultants / experts who do not want to weighed down by designations and other hierarchical blockades. In this fluid arena of high growth there is a need for both higher and broader skills which is easily filled by a growing band of specialized free agents / freelancers because of the following:

i. human resources: people, especially, the young, are much better educated than previously and more
ready to take stretch initiatives and responsibilities.
ii. markets: consumers are now more demanding and no longer willing to accept simple, standardised services/products, but are looking for innovation, variety, novelty and high quality –the specifications of which are continuously evolving.
iii. new technology: especially IT/Telecom have begun a virtual revolution making global collaboration on a real-time basis a functional reality. This has led to a fundamental shift in the rate of skills renewal / multitasking, transforming the earlier of the way work management.

Win-Win Freelancing

Until recently, there was a definite stigma attached to freelance recruitment. Freelance was often associated with words such as inexperienced, unfocused, risky, etc. However, due to the boom in the requirements of skilled candidates in almost all sectors and new screening processes brought on by
recruiters, and other specialize skills marketplaces/portals -‘freelance’ has taken on an entirely different connotation. No longer are freelancers judged as the people who cannot get a permanent job.

The new perception is that freelancers are highly skilled and efficient workers who can easily deliver
miracles – there is a definite newfound sense of trust and confidence in the services that freelancers provide. Growing number of freelance options and talent is available at third party marketplaces which provide ideal linkages to both ends of the value chain i.e. service seekers as well service providers.

Within any industry, freelance has become a very realistic and desirable option for many candidates – even candidates who are leaving permanent positions are now happy to look at freelance work – demonstrating a marked change in old employment models. For some, freelance has truly become a way of life – mirroring the work life balance issue that has become very prevalent in many other professional occupations.

Organizations are also starting to realize that freelance recruitment can offer them an economic advantage and sometimes give them an “edge” – a necessary thing to have in this very competitive market.

Using freelance workers means that there is less financial commitment on a project-by-project basis, and less investment is needed – with a limitless ocean of skill sets with unmatched levels of scalability which is a great financial incentive for any organization concerned with its bottom line.

There Is No Such A Thing As Free Money

Friday, December 28th, 2007

Have you come to internet in search for goldmine? Do you believe that you will find one and you would fill your sacks till you can! Have you come riding high on the hype that internet can make you rich overnight. Do you wish to be enlisted among the riches within next 15 days or month!! Are you being tempted by the offer that promises 10 millions by end of next month…..? Are you??

Beware! You are on a road to frustration and failure.

I happen to know a lot of people who joined the net race to become rich overnight (Oops! I was among them too). We joined a number of offers which promised us that easy guaranteed money.

Exhilarated we waited for the money to arrive. It never came. It was never supposed to come as I understand now. They cursed and left. I stayed and learnt. It was time for some introspection and understanding.

We had turned to internet to escape from grinding in our daily jobs. We had not come here with an idea to work. On the contrary we had come to enjoy free lunch.

We came because we thought we could get rich within no time. We had come to take away free money. It was never to be found. We were doomed to fail.

Success by virtue of its design has no shortcut. That applies in every sphere not just business. The nature has made it that way. If a lion has to dine he has to hunt. His food would never ever pay a visit to him. He has to earn that food. If you want a shady tree in your empty courtyard, you have to plant a seed and wait while it grows with your care. One has to earn his shade if his yard is empty.

The success does not visit the idles. It demands work. It demands constant efforts. Harder the efforts better the results.

The success will never come as freebie. It demands investment. It could be in form of money, time or both. There is nothing like something for nothing.

One has to earn his money.

Yes! Internet is goldmine. It provides you immense number of opportunities to earn money. But opportunities need to be tapped. You need to dig before the mine opens up its wealth for you. One cannot escape labor on his part. If you do not intend to carry out the digging better stop now.

There are people who have toiled. There mine has opened its gold for them. There sacks are full.

There are people who are digging while their sacks lie empty near by. But they are aware if they dug their sacks would be full soon.

Finally, there are people who carry empty sacks without any intention to dig. They wake up every morning and search for ready to use goldmine. They have found none till now and would never find any. Their sacks are destined to remain empty.

Where do among these three kinds you stand?

Three Great Reasons to Take Surveys

Friday, December 28th, 2007

Many of us have seen the ads encouraging one to “Get paid to take Surveys”. Many wonder why one would want to do that and who is actually paying people to do that? Well I am going to give you some reasons why someone should consider wanting to get paid to take surveys.

One really good reason for wanting to get paid to take surveys is that you get paid for taking a survey! So many companies use compensation to get customer input, why? It works. Time is very important to most everyone, therefore if you have to give your time for your opinion you want to be compensated. It does not take much effort, but it does take your time. Companies have learned that not everyone wants a six can soft-side cooler, but most everyone wants a little extra cash in their pocket. Therefore, in such a competitive commercial world companies need your input and are willing to pay you for it. In reality the $10-$25 they pay you is well worth the information that will help them better their company or product.

A second reason to consider spending time taking surveys online is that you can make some extra money, all just for giving your opinion. With opinions there are no right or wrong answers, how great is that? Depending on how much time you are willing to spend taking surveys will determine how much money you make. Let’s face it, we are living during the most convenient times ever, but are busier than ever before, our time is valuable. It is not uncommon for most Americans to complain about a lack of two main things, time and money. How great would it be to use some of our time to make some money, from our own comfortable home. Always remember though, you will get out of it what you put into it. This is not a way to get rich quick, and the payoffs aren’t the size of car notes for a ten minute survey. But, if you do six, ten minute surveys at $10 each, that is $60 an hour. Not too bad for a part-time job.

A third good reason you want to get paid to take surveys is the convenience of the job! You do not have to find additional day care or worry about jobs overlapping. There is no time clock and no dress code! You can choose to accept or turn-down any job. You can do it in your pajamas or while the kids are at school, even in the middle of the night when you just cannot sleep! The opportunities are left up to you. It is really a matter of convenience and finding what works best for you individually.

There are so many reasons to consider spending your time to get paid to take surveys. It really just has to be something that you are willing to spend your time doing. Of course, with any business venture, be certain that you take the time to ensure that it is really the right course for you.

Have You Got The Staying Power For A Home Business?

Friday, December 28th, 2007

There is a saying, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. That has been proved true many times over but for how long can you go on fooling yourself when it comes to business opportunities and home businesses?

The sales letter drops through your mailbox or the e-mail lands on your computer. It promises great wealth for the minimum of effort in an amazingly short time. So who do you think these letters are aimed at?

1. People who wish for some extra money
2. People who are basically lazy and do not want to work very hard
3. Impatient people who want results NOW!

Now take a look at any reasonably successful person you know. They did not just wish for extra cash, they actively pursued it. They may make their working life easier by delegating and out sourcing but in no way are they lazy. They don’t work hard they work smart. Finally all successful people know that overnight success can take many years to achieve and they are prepared to work for the long term.

The stupid thing about many of these business opportunity offers is that somewhere in there is a basically good idea. A plan that could help build a profitable and lasting business. But what is not realistic is the picture that the writer paints of the time scale and how to achieve this goal.

You are not going to generate thousands of dollars working for half an hour a day. You are not going to get money coming in faster than you can count it from day one. Even as you send the money or credit card details you know in your heart of hearts it is not going to happen. But somewhere in the back of your mind you are just hoping that this time it might.

When the plan or e-book arrives you read it and most times that is it. You leave it at that and do nothing else. Or perhaps you have a half hearted attempt to make it work and then give up after a few setbacks within the first couple of weeks. Doers any of this sound familiar to you?

Now if you are going to make any business work there is one quality you will need and this is where fooling yourself comes in. Are you a quitter? No don’t tell me I don’t want to know, tell yourself. Do you have the determination to see something through once you have started? In other words do you have staying power?

The good news is that if you honestly say to yourself that you do have the staying power then there is no reason why you should not make a success of any workable business opportunity that you become involved in. On the other hand if you know that you are the sort of person who is going to give up at first setback, don’t waste your money. Quitters don’t win so why bother to enter the race.

But come on, quitters can become stayers if they put their minds too it. If you want success badly enough then you can achieve it. If you think that you might quit before you reach your goal here is a suggestion.Just make yourself a sign and pin it above your desk or workspace.
“Whatever happens, whatever setbacks I encounter-I will not Quit”
Look at it often and in time it will become a fact.

That way you will become a stayer and a winner instead of a drop out and a quitter.

Characteristics of a Quality Medical Transcription School

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

First and foremost, a good medical transcription school will have a comprehensive curriculum designed specifically for medical transcription training. This does not mean some off-the-shelf program that mixes and matches curriculum and study material from a hodge-podge of medical and non-medical sources. You are looking for a solid A to Z curriculum that was designed by Medical Transcriptionists specifically for medical transcriptionists. There is a big difference. You don’t want a version of anatomy that is adapted from a veterinarian course. Yes, this sounds crazy, but you would be surprised at what you will find out there!

You are looking for a medical transcription school that teaches you the medical terminology, human anatomy, physiology and disease processes, abbreviations and plurals, and a host of other foundation material — all from a medical transcriptionist’s perspective.

Second, and of no less importance, the medical transcription school that you select must have an extremely strong focus on practical application. All the text-book training in the world is insufficient without a strong practicum to go along with it. Sitting in a classroom without applying what you are studying would be like memorizing vocabulary and learning to conjugate verbs in a foreign language and then assuming you could immediately go to that country and speak fluently with the natives. It just isn’t realistic. It takes a lot of practice before you can start actually doing it well.

The best medical transcription schools will not graduate you until you can demonstrate a level of practical competency. And guess what? The way many doctors dictate reports is more reminiscent of a foreign language than anything else. Slurred speech, poor grammar, rapid wording, and run on sentences only serve to exacerbate an already complex and specialized language — the language of medicine!

But in the end, the best way to select the right school is to find out where the national medical transcription employers are recruiting. You can rest assured that they are doing their homework. They will not be in the habit of hiring graduates from institutions that have not proven themselves capable of producing productive graduates. Getting a good job with a great company is really what counts isn’t it? In the ideal world you want the employers to come to you!

How To Make Money With Free Home Survey Work

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Free home survey work is ideal for anyone wishing to work out of their house, especially those with children. Although it may not pay all the bills, it can certainly be a big help and you are free to choose your hours.

Many people choose to do free home survey work because it allows them flexibility. It is something that can easily be done while you hold down another job, since you are able to work the hours that you have available.

Also, survey work gives you the ability to choose how much you want to work. If you decide you only need pocket change, a survey or two a day will suffice, but if you want to earn more, you can do up to a couple dozen surveys per day.

Finding free home survey work can be a bit difficult as most websites will want to charge you for a list of survey sites. These lists, while useful, can run anywhere between $10-100, depending on the perceived quality and the number of survey companies on the list. However, with a bit of hard work, you could find the same sites on your own, for free.

Legitimate survey sites will never charge you to take surveys. You should be able to take them for free, any company that charges you a fee to participate in their surveys is probably a scam and should be avoided.

Free home survey work does exist and there are plenty of people who earn a good amount of cash this way. If you are looking for a way to pick up some extra money, surveys may be for you.

How to Set Up Your Internet Business Using Yahoo Sitebuilder

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

There are literally thousands of companies keen to host your new website. If you are not sure how to set up a website, but are looking for a simple way to set it up, try Yahoo Small Business. You can set up a site with them quickly
and easily and they also provide the Yahoo Sitebuilder software which is easy to use and included free. They also provide an online store facility with payment via Paypal, if you are going to be selling goods.

Yyou may thought about your website name and have a few ideas of what names you might choose. You′ll need to see if that name is available or get some suggestions for other ideas. If what you have chosen is not available, you might consider adding “online” or “home” to the name.

I have found Yahoo to be a reliable company for webhosting. They also provide free software to create a website, you won’t need to buy anything to create or publish your site. It all comes as part of the package. If you just want to register your new domain name or if you want to start a website, it costs less than $10.

Yahoo also supply some really good statistics on who has visited your page and you can download the Weblog Expert to get a detailed breakdown of which pages are most popular and what “keywords” people are typing into the search engines.

For this reason, I’d recommend them to anyone. Not least because my daughter (she’s just 18) had her own site up and running within an hour. If she can do it, I know anybody can.
