Home Based Business Article - Why Most People Have Business Success Backwards

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Why most people have business success backwards, and therefore most people aren’t successful.

Success and wealth are crazy things. You must first give something away for them to be obtained. It is like planting a seed. You must give away or plant that seed before it grows and multiples This sounds absolutely crazy. Most people think how can I have wealth and success if I give away the little that I have? After all I don’t have much, therefore I must hang on to it if I ever want to have something.

Here’s what the truly successful have found out - they only achieved enormous success after they learned to give even more of themselves. The more they gave the more they received back. This is the philosophy too many people have and it is the philosophy of those who remain poor. For two much of my own life I had this philosophy. Most people can’t be blamed for having this way of thinking, as the secrets of success aren’t typically taught. They must be sought out.

First we must understand what wealth is, wealth is not money. Money is only paper. Ask a guy stranded on a desert island with 50 million dollars how much that money is worth. Not very much. Material wealth is only the items we can purchase with that money - cars, TV’s, vacations, houses, you get the idea. So in this frame something of value (the car for example) must be produced for us to be able to use it. Thus the more value that a person can produce (cars, TV’s, computers, even information and time) the more valuable you become.

Think of it this way, if you were the only person who could do a very valuable task that many people wanted how wealthy would you be? Extremely to say the least. But that is all just background information.

Here is why people have success backwards especially in the area of sales and marketing. They mistakenly go about trying to sell their product or service, thinking people will want to buy from them. Instead of thinking how can I be of value to others. How can I give away my value so I receive even more in return.

Here is where it really gets crazy. We already said we must give away our value to others to obtain wealth, and the more value we are able to give to others the more wealth that will come back to us.

Think of it like this.

A doctor goes to school for many years to become a doctor. He gives countless hours of his time to you to learn to become a doctor. Many doctors will study/work 4000 hours per year times 10 years = 40,000 hours plus many hundreds of thousands of dollars in money spent on education. So when you go to the doctor he has 40,000 hours invested in you in a sense, as you are the only one he is dealing with at this time. For which he might charge you $100. Even if you were to go to him for $40,000 worth of services in your lifetime where can you get this kind of value for $1 an hour and he even pays his own education cost out of his pocket.
The same thing can be said of a famous athlete, or musician, or actor, etc. who spends countless thousands of hours of practice perfecting their craft before you spent $15 on a CD or bought a ticket, etc. from them.

Think of someone like Bill Gates and Microsoft. He sells you a computer operating system like Windows, which has literally thousand of hours of development time in it, to you for $129. What an incredible bargain this is, somebody spends millions of dollars and thousands of hours to develop a product that you want for which you get for only $129. What a steal.

The point is in all of these cases these people had the vision of giving away their talents (isn’t our wealth really what we have the capability to earn with our talents), before they expected to receive anything in return. And yet in each of these cases the more value they were able to give away to people the more wealth they got back in return.

The Bible talks about the principal of tithing. God says give me 10 percent of what you can do and I’ll give you much more in return. God also says you can’t out give him. I think he must see it as like a contest. He must be thinking, you think you are a big giver. “Check this out, look what I’m going to give you in return, try to top this.”

The point is in all of these cases people first gave of themselves and then they received much more in return. And yet we too often as sales people simply go out and try to sell somebody on our product or service. And we wonder why the customer doesn’t buy from us.

Let’s look at this from the customer’s perspective-

We’re saying, “This is a great product.”
They’re thinking, “I’m skeptical what’s so great about it?”

We′re saying, “This product will make your life easier.”
They′re thinking, “Okay, but I can get the same product somewhere else why should I buy from you?”

We’re saying, “You need our product or service.”
They’re thinking, “Why, I’ve gotten along okay without it this long.”

We’re saying, “In so many words and body language, I need you to buy this from me.”
They’re thinking, “You’re bugging me, I don’t want to buy your product, go away.”

People have a built in radar that detects when they think you′re trying to sell them something, and when their radar detects this it automatically raises this built-in defense barrier to protect them from buying from you. Some sales people are so obnoxious that people will actually lower this barrier and buy from the sales person to get him to go away. The pain of dealing with them was greater than the pain of buying.

But they’ll never buy again from these sales people. The remarkably successful people first find ways to be of value first, then people will want what they have because they sense they are getting back more in return. What they are getting is a bargain.

Having said all this, value like beauty is really in the eyes of the beholder. You don’t have to become a doctor, athlete, or actor to be of value to others. Learn what people want and simply give it to them. There are certain basic human emotions that everyone wants but few provide them. So if you are one of the few who learn to give people these things doesn’t this make you valuable to them? Doesn’t this make people want to do business with you because you are providing greater value? Sure it does.

Here is a list of some of the things that people desire:

Make someone feel important, find someway to make them feel that they have a special way of doing something. Get them to talk about themselves. Find out something that they may have accomplished, no matter how small it may seem. And ask them to tell you about how they were able to accomplish this task. They will love telling you about it. You have to remember that to them their favorite topic is themselves.

The point is if you show genuine interest in them you are showing interest in their favorite topic. Automatically they drop their guard and will even discuss sales with you because, now you become more of a trusted friend - you are not just a sales person. But it can’t be phony interest. People will see through that.

By showing interest in them you are providing value to them. And remember everyone truly is special. Don’t ever judge someone by appearance by thinking, “They can’t help me, no need to be nice to them.” If you do this eventually other people will see this in you and think, “He is such a phony, he is only acting like this with me to get my business. He doesn’t really care about me, only my money.”

The point is people who really do want to provide others with value will develop an attitude of caring. When you show people you care you can’t help but be rewarded and you mind will become conditioned to liking this caring and being of value to others as it will come to enjoy the associated rewards.

In this regard we are almost like trained animals. Animal trainers get animals to do the things they want by rewarding them when they do good and withholding rewards for incorrect behavior. Like animals don’t we like doing things for which we receive rewards, of course we do.

Other tips I have found useful.

Smile and be courteous - remember what there is very little of, people cherish and crave it.

I know this is hard and I have done it but please resist the urge to one-up or outdo the other person. Let them have the high ground. If they tell you about their weeklong Caribbean cruise resist the urge to blurt in about your 2 week Caribbean cruise. You won’t score any points doing this. Let them have the glory.

And one last point, you don’t have to be world famous and have the secrets of life to give value to others. Remember most people have it backwards and are out just trying to sell others instead of offering them value.

In the land of the blind, the one eye’d man is king.
People always want to buy value and if you offer value you will never have a shortage of customers.

Three “Must Ask Questions” for Moms Who Want To Start a Business

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

I’ve realized over recent months that moms rarely do enough soul searching and research before jumping into a home business. To help you dig deep and give this the careful consideration that it deserves,
I have three ‘must ask questions′ for you. Before you make a decision, especially before you spend any money on an idea – sit down with a pad of paper and do some journaling on each question. Then,
if you’re married, take these questions and your thoughts to your husband and talk about all of it.

Have you walked through common sense steps?

Common sense dictates that you have a business plan. I’ll admit to you that I have never had a business plan when I started – but I do have a plan today that shapes my decisions and how I spend my time.
Common sense would say that you need to have a budget and a financial plan for your income.

Common sense would also demand that you research your business idea fully. Talk to others who are doing what you want to do and ask them pointed questions about how long it took them to get established and make a profit. Do not just ask those who are new to the business, seek out those who have been in business for at least four or five years. You need their perspective.

If the business that you′re considering is in Direct Sales – have you tried things out as a Hostess first? I’ve talked with women three months down the road who are disillusioned and regretful about their
decision to join a particular company and when I ask them if they started out by hosting a party and seeing if they enjoy that experience first – they have all said no. That tells me that testing the waters as a consumer is key.

Are you sure you can handle being your own boss?

I know a lot of great hard working people who would be in big trouble if they were in charge of themselves day in and day out. It’s important to your quirks. Working at home may seem like a long vacation at first but after awhile the polish wears off and it’s just work again.

Are you self motivated? Do you set good goals and keep on task without someone else holding you accountable? If you′re not entirely sure – ask the people that you′ve worked with what they think.

How will this business affect your kids, your marriage and your home?

This is huge. Working at home means different things to different people. If you’re going to start a business to earn a little extra grocery money, you might not be looking at something that will create
big waves in your home life – but if you’re looking for replace a full time income you have to be aware of the impact that your business will have on the home.

If your business involves physical products – where will it be stored and who will be taking care of it, moving it, shipping it? Don’t assume that your husband and kids will automatically love to lift your
boxes all the time. If your business requires you to be gone from the home a lot, who will pick up the slack for you? Who will watch the kids? Who will prepare family meals?

It’s easier than ever before to create a business from home that doesn’t involve products or time away – but even a virtual business requires your time and attention. When will you work and who will that time be taking away from? Don’t fool yourself into believing that you can run a fulltime business during nap time or only while the kids are at school.

If you can work your way through each question you’ll be well equipped to make the best decision possible about your home business.

Failing At Your Network Marketing Business?

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Readers read this! Do you know that Network Marketing whether online or offline has been a good source of income for young business establishers nowadays? Well, Network Marketing is not a simple business topic. This form of business does not just demand a debiting and a crediting knowledge background. Leave the task of computing among accountants.

This type of marketing may double or even triple your business budget easily, provided you will not fall in either one of the common mistakes done by error-prone Network Marketing producers and distributors.

1. Avoid Network Marketing groups that offer commission-based compensation among distributors. There is a big possibility that it is an illegal pyramid.

The act of alluring people or business finders to enter a business group has been an ordinary day-to-day street transaction among business-minded people. There are those people who will explain first the benefits that you can get from their group. But the reality is that they will just reverse what they had said. Believe me, it may not always be the case but beware. BEWARE the dogs suck! Metaphorically speaking, the dogs are those Network Marketing groups that offer commission- based compensation. The only assurance you got here is your having a job. But your assurance of getting paid evenly or squarely is diminishing. You can be paid still, but until when? That is a question that needs no more answer.

2. Avoid groups that oblige the new distributors to buy expensive products or any materials that the group offers. This might be another sign of potential danger.

It always pays to be nice. But some nice people are sometimes not all nice. It is not always the case. The truth behind is that there are pyramid groups that force their newly-entered distributors to purchase the expensive products or materials. Fake pyramid groups always have at the back of their minds the amount they could get. Sometimes it turns to be something from nothing. Take this friendly advice, right in front of your face I’m telling you, find ways to quit to the group.

Allow them to use you with just compensation. Do not allow anyone to use you as a distributor in which nothing’s left for you. Speak and think.

3. Do not heed to what the pyramid promoter is promising if he or she said that you can have more money through continued help in recruiting more distributors.

This is another clear sign of your being a victim of illegal network marketing. The bottom line here is work with just compensation. If the scenario is like the one stated above, quit now or be sorry. They might just be using you for their personal interest.

4. Some distributors don’t give ample time or attention to their network marketing group.

Don’t miss it. It is important. Some people are joining the group half-heartedly. But take note, it will count days or months to build an elevating career in network marketing.

5. Some network marketing operators take the business reluctantly as if its status will not able to decline in time.

Each member of the network marketing group must work hand-in-hand to sustain the set objectives of the group. This practice is not just recommended. It is a must to follow. But doing the otherwise will lead the path towards business failure.

6. Not realizing why you are operating the network marketing business.

It may sound stupid if after how many days of marketing operations you realized that you don’t have a definite target or objective in your business. But no matter how stupid it may be, it might be a reality that some are born as invalid plan setter. Early from the birth of your network marketing business, you should have already realized the reasons why you are driving the business. Recovery from money problems of the business is not like reading the A, B, and C. Setting your business objectives is the keyword.

7. Have a well-established commitment to work and duty.

There is no better time to start moving than NOW. Product distributors must attend to their respective assignments. One cannot make his or her business grow by just merely looking at it. Be committed to you work. Have time to pinpoint your business weaknesses so you can catch-up for the committed mistake if any.

As you reach the end of this article, I am hoping you are ending, too, the failing of your networking marketing business. Start rising now, young entrepreneur!

Mistakes To Avoid In MLM

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Some have estimated that a staggering 90% of all those who start in MLM drop out. That sounds high but with all the hype about making money people come into the MLM with unrealistic expectations. They expect to start seeing money rolling in without having to do any work. When this doesn’t happen, they quickly move on.

Choose wisely. The most important business decision you can make and the one that will make the most impact is the initial decision of which MLM to start. This alone can set you up for success or failure. Whatever you do, avoid choosing a company that sounds too good to be true. Make sure you do your homework and research the company before investing in it. Use common sense – if something sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Have a business plan. Know what you expect from yourself and from your business. Set realistic goals that can be reviewed and measured. One mistake many people starting a new business make is the failure to write a business plan. The plan can be simple, yet needs to be made. There are many software programs available that can help you make your business plan.

Don’t exceed budget. Many people don’t thoroughly estimate the startup costs and the costs for the first several months and therefore exceed budget. Plan for your costs and a mentor review it. New business startups often leave out important parts of the budget due to inexperience.

Have a budget. Many companies fail because of lack of any budget at all. Without control of expenses as well as good record keeping of income the MLM is doomed to fail. You should know where you stand at any given point.

Don’t over-estimate your potential. Yes, you’re zealous and excited at the new opportunity. But don’t over-estimate what you can humanly do. An MLM takes a lot of time and energy. You will need to wear many hats. You may find that you are unable to meet your goals because you over-estimated what you can do.

Don’t under-estimate your potential. Just as thinking you can do too much can doom your MLM; under-estimating your potential can kill it as well. Try to continually think outside the box. Don’t get into a rut. Let yourself explore new avenues. There is no limit to your success if you put your mind to it.

Not ready for the commitment – it takes hard work. Many people assume that the MLM will run itself and soon you’ll be raking in the money while you sleep. Although some like to advertise that, it’s not how it happens. In the beginning, especially, you will need to be motivated and dedicate yourself through hard work and discipline. Many people give up because they found they needed to work too hard at it to make money.

Building Your MLM Business Down Lines

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

A large, productive team member down line is necessary to earn a significant residual income with your network marketing business. There are many offers on the internet for software or other programs that can help you build your network marketing team down line. A down line builder does not have to come with a hefty price tag, though. All of you have the opportunity to create your own residual income builder. It does take some time, but it will save you a lot of money. So, forget about those high priced down line builders advertised everywhere and just create one yourself.

A down line builder is really just a way to generate a lot of business. It really is nothing more than a super sized marketing campaign. So, with that in mind, any business owner can create their own down line builder that boosts their business.

There are many ways to build your down lines. These methods mainly involve getting the word out about your particular opportunity and sharing it with others. There are many online opportunities to accomplish this, but people often forget about the abundant opportunities offline too. Offline marketing methods can actually yield some of the best results. The main reason for this is that people tend to believe more in someone they are talking to face to face, than someone they talk to through email or online messaging. I am sure you can relate to this! The four following methods, which include mostly offline methods, can be used together to form the ultimate down line builder for little to no cost.

1) Word of Mouth. Word of mouth is a form of advertising that has been around for centuries. Word of mouth simply involves talking to other people and sharing information about your business opportunity. Not everybody you talk to will be interested in the opportunity, but they have now heard of it and if they come across someone who is interested, they just may share the information with them. Word of mouth advertising spreads quickly and just through this simple method alone, you are sure to see a surge in business.

2) Business Cards. Business cards are often under used, as many business owners just do not recognize the potential. You can use them like mini flyers that advertise all of the necessary information about your business. You can also put just enough information on the cards to stimulate a person’s interest enough to get them to visit your website. They are the right size to leave just about anywhere. They should be tacked to bulletin boards, left in phone booths, left with a tip at a restaurant, given inside cards - the list of uses is endless. This is such a simple non-evasive method that people will simply accept the card and be reminded later about your business when they have had time to look at the card. It’s amazing the amount of business that can be generated from simply making good use of business cards. You can get free business cards at altavista.com.

3) Local Resources. Local newspapers, television and radio are all good sources for advertising. This is a more costly option for you, but is very effective. People like to shop close to home, so if they hear about a business in their area, they are more likely to check it out than if the business is not close by.

4) Join Online Communities. There are many online communities on various topics and most of them are free! You can find communities that suit your business, join them, and share in the discussions. You will be building relationships with potential customers while also showing you are knowledgeable about what you are selling. This is not the place to out right sell, but most will allow you to put a website link in your signature line that serves as a small ad with every post you make.

The common thread in all of the aforementioned methods that you can use to build your network marketing business down lines is that they all require you to take action. You must take action if you expect to see your business grow so that you can start earning those residual income checks! To your success!

Planning Is The Most Important Part Of Starting a Home Business

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

I just want to make an important note before starting: you should know that there isn’t just one right or wrong answer for any of the proceeding questions.

Here are a few questions I think you should answer before you consider starting a home business:

Can you recover if the home business you decide to use fails?

In other words, is the amount of money you put in the business too much for you to handle? Or can you recover if there happens to be lost? Take your time answering this one—it’s critical.

Do you have patience?

The home business market usually has you spending money before you make any… you simply can’t expect to get rich over night. You have to continue to work hard to make it all work.

Are you an organized person?

You are going to have to gather emails, receipts, and other important information you may need to refer to again somewhere down the line. Practice your organizational skills.

Why do you want to start a home business instead of looking for a regular 9-to-5?

Is money your only incentive, or are you seeking things like freedom and more fun?

How much free time do you have available?

You are going to need some time to set up your home business. This can’t be done in ten or twenty minutes.
Don’t worry, once you set up you are able to work at a slower pace (as opposed to when you’re setting everything up in the beginning).

What is your idea of an ideal salary?

Be reasonable here, but think big at the same time. This can be a major incentive when starting a home business.

Is your current job any good?

Would you mind working there for another few years? Or would you do anything to jump ship right away? Answers will vary.

Do you know who your potential customers are?

If you are starting a home business, you should know whom you are trying to reach with your business. For example, during a WWE broadcast, you might see more video game advertisements than normal because the majority of people watching these telecasts are boys to young men—raving lady fans might beg to differ.

Are you willing to learn? Are you willing to improvise?

The home business market moves at a hectic paste. You must continually learn what’s new and how you can improve your business and earn the most money possible.

If you think you have legitimate answers to the preceding basic questions, then you are absolutely ready for a home business.

The Pros and Cons of Working from Home

Monday, November 26th, 2007

A few years back, my dream was to work from home. Every time I’d leave the office, aggravated from some corporate memo or the nonsense of office politics, I’d think: if only I could work from home then I could leave all this behind.

Having found a legitimate source of work-from-home income, I do work from home now, and there are some great benefits of working from home. In truth, though, there are pitfalls to working at home as well.

Anyone thinking about making that leap from the traditional workplace to working from home, should think about it carefully beforehand. Consider both the pros and the cons of a home office.

On the plus side, there’s definitely something to be said for being able to work in your pajamas, if you’re feeling so inclined, or being able to wear shorts rather than a formal business suit on a hot day. Working from home enables you to avoid bad weather drives and with gas prices so high, there’s a definite savings there.

On the downside, working out of your own home is a solitary endeavor and for many people, it’s a lonely proposition. There’s also the fact that you’ll need to maintain your own equipment. Potentially, there won’t be an I.T. help desk to call whenever you have computer woes, and if your computer fritzes out, you’re generally on your own.

Part of it depends on what type of home employment you find. Many work-from home jobs are contractor jobs, putting you under the header of Self-employed. It’s an important distinction because contractors are not employees of the company they’re working for. They’re contracted with the company and, as such, are responsible in sum for their own equipment, filing taxes, and there won′t be any fringe benefits forthcoming — no sick time, vacation time, nor health, dental and 401k.

So is working from home right for you? Be sure to research your options and understand what you are signing on for. Many big corporations are beginning to see telecommuting as a viable option for employees. If your company is one of these, then you may be able to try on a home office before making a commitment. Ask your Human Resources department or your supervisor.

For those who do not have this try-before-you-buy option available, be sure to do your homework. Make sure your equipment is current and has the capabilities necessary for running your own home office. Check out the company you’re thinking of working (or contracting) for. There are many work-from-home scams out there and it’s easy to fall victim to one if you aren’t careful.

It’s a big decision to make the leap from that traditional job to a work-from-home scenario, and it isn′t for everyone. People who like to be around other people will potentially find home-work a lonely prospect. It’s easy to get cabin fever working in your own home day after day after day. Plus, you need to be a self-starter, able to work through any number of day-to-day distractions that you wouldn′t have in a traditional office.

It all depends on you, on your priorities, obligations, and personality. And on those cold winter days, when the wind is howling outside my window and I see the traffic on the roads, all the commuters backed up on the way to the office, people juggling their coffee cups and briefcases, I boot up my computer and thank the heavens that I have my work-at-home job.

New Plans for Your New Year: Reviewing your Business and Setting Goals

Monday, November 26th, 2007

For many who work from home, the fall/holiday season is when their biggest sales are made. You′ll be busy servicing customers … but after the holidays bustle, take some time for a work from home retreat.

As the new year approaches, it is a great time to re-evaluate your business plans. Taking time now to look at your home business and set goals can help your business blossom in the coming year.

Ask yourself -

- Why are you in business?

- What is actually making you money? DO MORE of it!

- What is going well in your business?

- What needs change?

- What level of success do you want to accomplish?

- What baby steps will you take to get there?

- Are there “time wasters″ that are eating into the time you can be focusing on making money?

Please do not just read through these questions and do the “yeah, yeah”. You are investing in yourself. Take the time to write down your answers.

Write down your New Year’s Goals.

Give yourself & business the gift of time (how ever much you are able to take). Depending on your situation, maybe your business review will be time during a child’s nap. Perhaps your children are in school and you have the day. Whatever your situation, take the time to get business-focused.

Other ideas for your Work at home Retreat:

- take that long needed bath or nap

- find a cozy place to write out the answers to business focus plans and goals

- choose one book that will help you take steps in your business and read it.

- sip away on your favorite beverage.

- take yourself out to lunch at your favorite coffee shop or bistro. Where appropriate, bring product samples, you never know who you might bump in to.

Take time for you.

Take time for your business.

Set your goals & ring in the New Year!

Can A Home-Based Business Create A Life of Wealth?

Monday, November 26th, 2007

If there are NO secrets to building a profitable home-based business, then WHY is it that few really understand and accomplish an enormous amount of success, when many others cannot?

Truthfully, there could be any number of reasons why.

I can only speak from personal experience. Most of my failures (which weren’t a bad thing at all) were due to lack of education and lack of patience. It’s sad to say, but even though I knew that get-rich-quick isn’t something real, I guess deep down inside I still wanted to believe it was. As a result, I rushed through the much-needed information missing the most vital steps to obtaining success.

Today, after 4 ½ plus years, all of the information I’ve gathered about building and marketing a business from home makes all the sense in the world to me.

All it takes is the right opportunity, proper preparation, and an effective marketing plan. Without ANY of the 3 of these critical elements, wealth through your own efforts becomes a virtual impossibility.

Opportunity

In order to create a life of wealth from a home-based business, the opportunity must first exist.

Although there are MANY home-based business opportunities that do exist, not many of them offer a relatively low start-up cost, with the potential to earn an unlimited amount of income. Of those companies who can provide the above, most of them lack providing their customers with all of the tools and materials right from the start that could help them actually build a successful business.

The reason they don’t provide all of the tools you would need for one low cost is because these companies offer what we call a “start-up” business opportunity.

Having a good start is GREAT…

BUT…

Having a strong finish is even BETTER!

By carefully researching, which could take you time, you should add up the total cost of not only starting your own home-based business, but also what it will take for you to build, develop, and promote it into the financial vehicle you had hoped it would be.

Lesson #1 -Take the time to recognize a true opportunity.

Proper Preparation

If you are blessed enough to find a true opportunity, don’t limit your chances of creating wealth by merely “buying” into it. Buying into the opportunity only allows you the rights to market the product or service. It’s totally left up to you to unlock its potential rewards by using the right key.

That key is to take the TIME to prepare yourself so that you are able to reap the full benefits from your home-based opportunity once you have decided to take advantage of it.

Proper Preparation includes an in-depth knowledge of a needed or wanted product and/or service, how you will get paid for providing them, and HOW you will advertise and market them EFFECTIVELY.

Before representing a product, you should KNOW your product well. And the best way to know your product is by purchasing it yourself.

Nothing speaks louder to other people than a testimony through personal experience. If you don’t have confidence in the product you’re representing, then it only stands to reason that potential customers won’t have confidence in you.

STUDY, PURCHASE and use your product.

Commit yourself to learning all you can about your product or service and your business. It truly is the only way to find out if it is truly worth representing.

Lesson #2 – Know your product or service inside out.

A Sound Marketing Plan

A sound marketing plan is the final step in proper preparation and means everything to success!

If your home-based business doesn’t have a plan that will reach your targeted audience, then you will be working for your business, instead of your business working for you. It will also be highly unlikely that your start-up business will succeed.

Talk about no secrets, the reason most start-up businesses fail is because they fail to plan.

By focusing on the profit rather than on the processes that will get them to their end-goal, they continually miss the steps that could ultimately bring them success. Instead they should spend more time focusing on the important aspects of building their business.

Building includes bringing awareness of your product and/or service to the general public in a way that is understandable to them. Once you have unlocked the door and walked through it, you will want to introduce yourself and product or service in a way that says, “Hello everyone, I’m finally here! Your waiting is over!”

In other words, you will want to relay a strong message that you know there are many other companies who provide this (or similar) particular product or service, but it is much more beneficial for you to go along with me, company B, rather than A or C because….

Create a plan of action. Work it backwards and then play it forward. Test it, re-test it, and then release it.

Does each step of your plan have a Most Wanted Response (MWR)? It should.

Lesson #3 – Prepare to get the MOST from your new business.

In Summary

The benefits of working from the comfort of your home can be more than rewarding in many ways.

Following a step-by-step proven process will present your best chances for creating a life of wealth from your home-based business. If no such plan is available, using your own unique style and creative ability can prove instrumental in introducing yourself and your company to the general public.

Just remember, there are no secrets to building a profitable home-based business. All it takes is an in-depth knowledge of a needed or wanted product and/or service, how you will get paid for providing them, and HOW you will advertise and market them EFFECTIVELY.

Creating a life of wealth is more than possible where the right opportunity, and the right plans to market your product and/or service co-exist. Are you prepared?

Opportunity is useless without proper preparation. Stop working for your business and start experiencing the benefits of enjoying a business that works 4 you. After all, if you have to work, shouldn’t your job at least be fun?

Arbitrage Trading Reviewed 2006

Monday, November 26th, 2007

I am sure many of you have never herd of sports arbitrage trading, or know very little about it. If you are into making money working from home or are looking to make extra money working out of your house you can accomplish this with arbitrage trading.

So what exactly is sports arbitrage trading? That’s a good questions that many first time people ask. Arbitrage trading is when numerous arbitrage situations, also referred to as “sure bets”, “scalps” and “risk free bets”, are created. Every day in sport’s-betting markets and increasing number of arbs, sure bets, and scalps are popping up. These are terms attributed to a minor flaw in the betting system and YOU can take advantage of them! Earning from this flaw is perfectly legal and is tax free in most countries. The difference in the odds determines the amount of risk-free profit to be made from arbitrage trading.

Many people tend to look at sports arbitrage trading as gambling. Arbitrage is not to be confused with gambling, which carries a risk! Arbitrage Trading is a system where you trade with TWO different bookmakers who have opposing views on the outcome of an upcoming event on the same event. The result is a profit to you, no matter who wins the event.

If you are new to sport’s arbitrage trading, just take a moment to imagine yourself placing a trade that ALWAYS wins, regardless of the outcome of the event. Because you don’t lose when you place an arbitrage trade, you′re not betting at all - you are trading.

How much money is there to be made? Another very good question that everyone wants to know. We all love making money and lots of it. With arbitrage trading you can make anywhere from $100 to $1000 a week. It is all just about how much time you have to put into trading and just how much money you have to trade with. On a normal day of trading you will see arbs that come in at around 3 - 5%. So if you place any amount of money on those arbs your going to earn 3 - 5% on your money.

Here is a small example of how it works.

Below are bookmakers odds for a tennis event in the Romanian open.

$500 on Balcells with bookmaker Stan James at odds of 1/1.
$400 on Hanescu with bookmaker Be𜚍 at odds of 6/4.

The total amount you have traded is $900.

If Balcells wins you get $1000 from bookmaker Stan James.
If Hanescu wins you get $1000 from bookmaker Bet365.

So your profit, no matter who wins, is $100 ($1000 - $900).

So now you can see exactly how easy arbitrage trading works and how you can really make some nice profits from trading.

As an Arbitrage trader, you work your own hours on your PC. When you use and arbitrage trading software program like SureBetPro, there is NO advertising and NO products to stock or sell.
