How to Succeed in Network Marketing

Friday, March 31st, 2006

Network marketing is one of the methods of marketing products and services. The organization marketing the products creates a network of individual entrepreneurs who assist the organization in securing orders for the product. The individual marketers in the network get commission for business conducted through their efforts. The enterprising network marketers grow their own marketing network and, depending upon the compensation scheme of the organization, the network marketers also get paid for the efforts of their team mates.

Though network marketing is an old concept it has got a real boost by the development of internet. Spreading information is one of the key elements of network marketing and internet provides just the medium to spread the message at staggering speed. For millions of individuals involved in network marketing it signifies a complete business. Most of them are looking for additional source of income. They are lured by the ease with which they can join network marketing and by the expectation of making some quick money.

But what happens? Most of the people are not able to earn from network marketing. Many of them get disgusted and either leave or become inactive. According to one study there is better chance of making profit in games of chance such as gambling than in network marketing by an average person. A person who is not serious about his network marketing business would stand a better chance to earn some profit in a gambling den than in the network marketing. The same study concludes that the top few involved in network marketing earn tremendous amount of wealth at the cost of thousands of network marketers who do not earn any profits.

While I do not question the authenticity of this study, I do feel that this is a wrong way of interpreting facts. When we send our children to school we do not say that the owners of the school are earning at the cost of the students. Even those who realize this fact still send their children to school.

Network marketing provides opportunity not only for earning but also for learning. Most of the people are drawn towards network marketing by unreasonable expectations. They are led to believe that they can earn without much efforts on their part. Those who try to learn go much further than those who don’t. The network marketer has to go through the learning process to find out how he or she can succeed in earning money.

Success is something which cannot be imposed. It has to be earned. Being successful is a habit and like every other habit it can be cultivated. Success is not a single event – it is a winning mindset. Network marketing is one of the best places where you can find the opportunity to develop a winning mindset. But only those who are willing to learn can hope to benefit from this opportunity.

All the good organizations involved in network marketing provide plenty of support to its sales force. They provide learning opportunity, promotional material, and even mentoring. It is up to the individual network marketers to learn and develop himself or herself. It is not correct to compare network marketing with a game of chance. The internet marketers who are the players in this game have a clear choice – those who learn will succeed.

One of the key elements of network marketing is the leverage. All successful network marketers use this technique to increase their effectiveness several folds. Leveraging means getting others to work for you. Now, why will others work for you. They will work only if they stand to gain for their efforts. Therefore it is in the interest of the team leader to see that his team members also learn to earn. Network marketing is really a team effort.

Network marketing provides tremendous opportunity for learning, earning and making new friends. For those who take initiative, success is just round the corner.

Why Choose Christian Home Businesses?

Friday, March 31st, 2006

In today’s world, Christian home businesses just make sense. Why trust your money and your future to someone who doesn’t live his life by the guiding principles of our Savior. You look for the fish symbol in the window when you need work done on your car. You look for it in the window at the dry cleaners. You are right to look for it when selecting a business partner of any kind. While it is no guarantee of success in business, Christian home businesses are less likely to be a scam or a business without principles. They are more likely to treat you with respect and treat you as a partner in business rather than a pawn in a hollow and meaningless plan for their own riches.

You see, the world of business, whether it be at home or on Wall Street is a difficult and dangerous world. Greed runs rampant in any sphere of endeavor touched by money. If you are going to trust some of your money and much of your free time to someone and trust them with a piece of your future and that of your family, you need someone at the helm you can trust. Owners of truly Christian home businesses understand that life goes beyond piles of money - life is a teacher. It both schools you and tests you in preparation for The Day.

A business owner who understands that has his eye on the big prize. He knows that helping others to succeed is just as important a goal as succeeding for himself and his family in this life. Even if you strip away all the rest of what differentiates Christian home businesses from the rest, that one sterling point will make all the difference in your home business dealings. Someone at the helm who thinks of his business partners as good people who are counting on him…not just a name or a credit card number.

And be wary of the Christian home businesses that flaunt their affiliation above all else, for it is the proud ones who fall the hardest. No, look not for the business sermonizer, but rather the Christian home businesses that neither flaunt nor hide their affiliation. The ones that greet you honestly with a simple statement of their faith and then move on to other matters at hand and get the show on the road. Then too, look deeper, beyond their faith and make sure they know their business too. Not all of His children are successful business people.

5 Common Myths About Network Marketing That Will Cause You To Fail Before You Ever Get Started

Friday, March 31st, 2006

Network marketing, or MLM, has taken the home-based business arena by storm. This ingenious manner of direct selling allows the customer get a piece of the pie by becoming and independent representative of the company. As a result, the customer is given the benefit of earning income by simply sharing or referring people to the products and services of the company.

Network marketing has been implemented and updated for the online audience in recent years, further elevating its popularity to new heights. A lot of work-at home moms, downsized employees, and recent retirees are joining Network marketing programs in hopes for a better financial future for themselves and their families.

There are probably literally thousands of network marketing companies in operation. And people are joining these companies every minute. However, many people are not succeeding in what I believe is one of the best income opportunities available anywhere for literally anybody.

The reason? It’s because countless network marketers are committing the same mistakes over and over again. Instead of learning from the errors of others and failing to due their due diligence, they fail before even getting started, thus jeopardizing their chances of attaining success in the network marketing field.

What are these myths? Better yet, how can you avoid them?

1. Believing that Network Marketing is a “get rich quick” scheme. Any person who has experienced a certain degree of success with network marketing would tell you that this system is far from that. The fact is, you will have to work –after all it is Net “work” marketing. And it is a business. To have a successful business you will have to invest time, energy, and resources – to be able to achieve success, whether it is conducted online or offline. However, it is possible to earn $300-$500 a month within your first 3-6 months in the right network marketing business. The key is finding the right network marketing business that makes it possible for you to do this by giving you a step-by-step blueprint of how, when, where, and why.

2. Believing the hype-yours and others. “This is easy.” “I’m too good for this.” “I could do these with my eyes closed.” These are statements born from confidence – or overconfidence to be more precise. And this haughty disposition could very well be your number one obstacle to attaining success with MLM. Don’t get me wrong a certain level of confidence will serve you well. You will need this to maintain your focus and reach your goals. And you’d have to believe in the program to have others believe in you and the opportunity you are presenting to them. Find a network marketing company that you can have confidence in can mean the difference between making $100′s a month or making $1000′s a month.

3. Not needing leads. This kind of attitude is doomed from the very beginning. Leads are the lifeblood of any network marketing campaign. Leads represent your prospects, customers and future team members. Without leads, your business will die a quick death. Network marketing companies that supply you with live generated leads are the best. These people have shown an immediate interest in the product or service being marketed. These are the leads that will grow your business by leaps and bounds above others.

4. Not investing in the business. As mentioned before- this is a business. As with any business you will have to invest in the business if you want it to grow. Most people get caught up in “its only $39.99 a month” or whatever the price maybe and fail to adequately fund their business. Then a couple months down the road they wonder why they are only getting $10- $15 checks. When looking at a network marketing company make sure to find out what it takes in dollars to successfully market and grow your business and set aside funds monthly to do that.

5. Lack of focus. Many multi-level marketers are of the belief that they should join as many MLM programs as allowable to provide for themselves several income streams from which they could derive their earnings. This is very dangerous. Spreading yourself too thin by engaging in several programs at the same time will make you lose your focus fast. Instead concentrate all your efforts to achieve success with one program. It is a lot easier and faster to build wealth when you focus on one program. Build a solid down line from which you could earn some residual income in a sustainable and substantial level and you’ll soon find out you won’t need another program.

Knowledge, they say, is half the battle won. Knowing the common myths network marketers make is the first step towards success. Don’t let yourself fail before you even get started. Network marketing has lead many down the road to financial freedom and it can do the same for you.

MLM and the Internet, What A Perfect Match!

Thursday, March 30th, 2006

In the good old days back in the 80s, MLM distributors build their business the hard way. Things were difficult. People’s impression of network marketing business as a scam made it worse and lead generation had to be done through the crude ‘friends and families’ way…

Ten years later things have changed. Many skeptics have seen ordinary people build a successful home based business and they have joined in too, and most important, the internet was introduced.

The introduction of the internet was a major progress in network marketing industry. Not only that it makes it easier to build business, the time it takes to have a four figure downline has reduced dramatically too. The internet is a very important tool to have in MLM business. With internet, you can have a worldwide customer base, a worldwide business partners, you can generate leads that are interested in your product or business opportunity and most important, advertising is cheap compared to doing it offline.

Internet is a form of leverage. You can do a lot with very little time and effort. It can bring targetted leads for you all day for the business opportunity and for the product sales. Without those two lead types you cannot build a successful business.

Although many people still use the ‘friends and families’ approach to jump-start their business and i am not against using that elementary method but many experts have used the cold market only to build an empire through the use of the internet.

The good thing about the type of lead generated from the virtual world is that it is very targetted and moreover, you are not chasing them but they are chasing you to find out more about your business.

There are still many MLM companies out there that have not implemented the use of this amazing leveraging tool. They are doing a great disservice to their distributors and even to themselves since the success of their distributors is proportional to the success of the company as a whole.

Many crude methods that were used in the old time have been replaced by the use of the internet, example of those methods include;

1 Home Presentation - Home presentation has been replaced by online presentation where the prospect can view a complete video/audio presentation and have full understanding of the business opportunity. The prospect may also request online for a CD/DVD presentation to be posted to them for free. This kind of approach has only been possible since the birth of the internet.

2 Training and Support - In my MLM organisation our communication system is second to none. We receive all current news as they are breaking through daily newsletters from uplines. We also have a program called Trainex which enable trainer/sponsor to interact with downline’s computer as if he’s there beside him/her so he can show him/her how to use the different programs that make our business simple. This makes building international business possible since you wont have to travel long distance to show your distributors what they need to learn to build their business. This is only possible because of the power of the internet.

3 Uneffective Advertising - Advertising on the internet is cheaper and more effective than advertising in national newspapers. it is also easier to track what is working and what is not working online.

Network marketing business is…building a business without the hassle of building a business. You must have fun while doing it and it must not cost you arm and leg. The implementation of a powerful form of leverage, the internet, is very important so that you will take less time and build a strong worldwide business from the comfort of your home.

So What If You Work At Home! Be Professional

Thursday, March 30th, 2006

I believe that anyone going into business should strive to maintain a professional image. I don’t care if you work at home in your boxers or if you are leasing office space if you want people to do business with you, you must show your customers or clients that you care about your business.

I commonly hear that work at home moms shouldn’t have to worry about professionalism because they have a family to manage and they are only doing this part time. The argument goes something like this:

“Some work at home moms may not want to be professional. They have more important things to do. A woman who works too hard at being professional just to please others can risk putting her family second.”

My problem with this argument is that it doesn’t matter where you work or what you do, you should always be professional. Try running a business without an ounce of professionalism and you will quickly see that you won’t last long.

This is because people hold businesses to a certain standard. No one wants to invest money in someone that will not even invest time and money into themselves. Professionalism doesn’t have to be expensive; in fact it’s the least expensive thing you can add to your business.

Ways to be unprofessional:
Direct your customers or clients to a website hosted on a free server.
Use business cards that have perforation marks around the edges or even worse- another company’s advertising on the back.
Tell your clients that you can’t meet the deadline because you had to attend your son’s school recital.
Set your email signature to insert all 10 direct sales businesses you represent in every email you send.
Act annoyed when customers call you.
Ask to barter business services for handmade items.
Don’t fully learn the craft of your work. Learn it half way and then jump right into business.
Try to hide your mistakes.

Ways to be professional:
Learn every aspect of your job so that you can perform it well.
Invest in a domain name and hosting.
Make sure your website is up-to-date and clutter free.
Respond to all emails in a timely fashion.
Always be courteous via phone and email.
Understand that you can’t get everything cheaply or for free.
Admit your mistakes and move on.

4 Effective Network Marketing Tips To Boost Your MLM Business Growth!

Thursday, March 30th, 2006

Effective network marketing…exactly what is it? Does it mean going out and gang tackling every person who is fair prey to your advances about your business opportunity? It used to be but not anymore!

Effective network marketing in 2007 is about combining the best of the best. That is, using the resources of the internet with the most effective resources in the offline world.

What Are They?

If you are working from the old network marketing text books and using methods such as “the 3 foot rule” then you are most likely spinning your wheels and not making any impression in your MLM business.

Similarly, if you are using an automated internet marketing system to attract people into your business and are wondering why they are bailing out as quickly as they’re joining then I’m going to explain a simple fact of life about MLM.

It’s all about creating relationships. That’s why it’s so often referred to as relationship marketing. No amount of enticing or pleading or threatening a prospect to join your business is going to work in 2007. Likewise, no automated online recruiting system is going to sustain a solid foundation for your MLM business over time unless you incorporate at least some form of communication between you and your prospect.

When Online And Offline Marketing Works In Synergy Magic Happens!

Effective network marketing is combining both your online efforts with relationship building offline communication tactics. Generating a mass of targeted leads online is not much good unless you are prepared to create some sort of relationship with these people.

The initial prospecting method is simply a pre-qualification stage. The internet has been a boon for network marketers in their quest to attract leads to their business. We’ve established what doesn’t work:

- approaching people offline in a haphazard way
- generating leads online in a haphazard way

Effective Network Marketing Tactics

Here’s what can put the odds of building your business successfully in your favor with the right marketing skill set:

1. Attracting targeted prospects online, those looking for a work at home opportunity

2. Using the right marketing tools to initiate a first response from them

3. Getting contact details but offering them something of value in return, preferably tangible such as a report, cd or dvd which also contains your contact information

4. Doing the follow up via a phone call

Does the 1 Step System Really Work?

Thursday, March 30th, 2006

After a lot of debate, reviewing and general discussion I finally signed up to the 1 Step System a month ago.

The 1 Step System is one of the next generation of Online Home Business that has risen to the fore this year. It promises that all you have to do is get visitors to your webpage and the system will sell the product for you, with you collecting $500 of every $597 sale.

After signing up and paying the $597 fee, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the website and program and also of the actual product itself, the Ultimate Marketers Toolbox.
Being the pessimist that I am, I tend to take everything that I read or am told with a pinch of salt until I try it myself ‘from the horses mouth’ so to speak, so when the 1StepSystem stated that the Ultimate Marketers Toolbox was worth a staggering $2647.34, and that we were going to be able to pick it up for the discounted price of $500 only, my pessimism was in overdrive.

Well, after listening to the Free teleseminar and signing up with my $597, ($97 for the system and $500 for the product), I must say that I was very, very pleasantly surprised. Well, to be honest, you could have knocked me over with a feather! It was everything it promised to be and more.

The 1 Step System’s back office which has all the links, PDF’s, Software & Audio’s from the Toolbox as well as a huge array of other marketing products is incredibly detailed and very easy to read and understand. There is a full video center explaining how to use the back office as well as all the marketing products with regular updates from the 1StepSystems creators Rod Stinson and Chris Koehl.

So far, so good. I was impressed with the layout, the product and the company but could it do what it stated? Did all I have to do is show people the website and the system would do the rest? Well, off I went to begin.

I went through the array of the 1StepSystem’s marketing tools to pick out the ones I felt could achieve what I wanted in the quickest time possible, which was as many people viewing the website. I also found the Free ‘1 Step System Success Secrets’ ebook by Stephanie Woolford-Bales, to also be an incredibly good source of marketing information and one that I still have a good read over for my other online products as well as the 1 Step System.
Using some PPC ads, (Pre-written by 1StepSystem), and some marketing sources suggested by the free ‘1 Step System Success Secrets’ e-book, I signed up 20 people to the free teleseminar within 7 days, and of those 20 people, 2 of those joined the 1 Step System under me. That was my 2 training sales made and those payments went straight to the person who referred me. Another great feature with the 1StepSystem, was that when people signed up under you, their own first 2 sales went straight to you and so on and so on, creating a very large downline of $500’s that I don′t have to work for.

Within another 3 days I made my first own sale and now 1 month later I have made 8 sales and less that $200 spent in advertising. Not a bad profit at all and along with my own downline promoting and their own first 2 sales sending me $500 each, I am earning a very, very nice income.

Also, and as promised by the 1 Step System, the first I know that they someone has signed up under me is when I receive a Paypal email, (My payment processor of choice, but you can choose the one you want to use), telling me money had been deposited into my account. I am averaging at a $500 payment every 4 days or so and payments are expected to increase quicker. $500 every day should be hit very shortly.

My overall review.
To work and earn big amounts of money from the 1StepSystem, all you need to do is send visitors to your referral page. This involves using methods like PPC, (Try not to use Google as their prices are quite steep), or my favourite is to buy visitors from expired domains, ie: MLM Marketing, with from 1000 visitors from only $5.95. The system will take care of everything else for you.

Join up under companies like Online-Home-Based-Business.org as they provide additional support and even more marketing resources including promotion through free advertising.

Get the visitors to your referral webpage and the 1 Step System will promote itself, earning you a lot of money in the process. It really is that simple.

After many years with companies like GDI & SFI, the 1 Step System is a breath of fresh air and is a sign of the future of online home businesses. Get in quick whilst it is hot.

Free Work at Home Jobs

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

What is it with the advertisements for “Free Work at Home Jobs?”Are there really jobs that are “free?” Well, the answer really depends on what the advertisement is for and what you consider free. In fact, it is all a matter of perspective.

What are Your Advertising?

When an advertisement says, “Free Work at Home Jobs” it may be talking about ads for jobs you can do out of your home. Sometimes these ads are for job sites or job listings that you can get for free. Which, if you are looking for a home-based career, can be a plus, as you probably do not want to pay a lot to find a job working from home.

Many sites today ask for money to access a job board listing. Some of those fees can get pretty hefty or add up with monthly membership costs. However, many of the ads are gleaned from other sites across the internet that do not cost a penny. If you are looking for home-based work you want to try going to free work at home jobs sites first.

Still, if you are thinking about paying money for job sites, you will want to research the site itself first. You may think it is beneficial to pay someone else to do your research for you, but if they are not legitimate jobs then you will be out some money. Make sure you are working with a reliable job board.

Are there “Free” Work at Home Jobs?

You may be asking yourself if there are truly “free” work at home jobs, and it depends on your situation and choice of jobs. Most jobs require you to have a certain amount of supplies, equipment, or training. While some jobs will not require much from you to set up, others may cost you some money.

For instance, if you are looking to take on an administrative or data entry position working from home, you may already have everything you need with your computer and printer. In this case, you may consider those free work at home jobs. Yet to another person, they may include the cost of the computer and printer in the job, so it is not really free. It is all a matter of perspective.

So for some people it is really a matter of finding low-cost or free work at home jobs, and there are plenty to be had. To find those jobs you need to first determine what you like to do and what you are skilled at doing. Take a look at your passions to see what types of things you love to do and what training you have in those things. Then go over your list to see what jobs may be available in those areas that will require little or no cost.

Also, remember that even if you start off with free work at home jobs, it is unlikely that you will not incur costs along the way. If you work from home you may need to pay for internet access, telephone fees, electricity, and more. If it is your own business, you will need to have some program or book for keeping track of expenses and income.

Start a Home Cleaning Service for Less than $10!

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

The home cleaning service is truly one of the most lucrative home based businesses which could garner a huge amount of profits as well as peace of mind for you. People favor the home cleaning as a business because it gives you time flexibility as well as the pleasuring of being your own boss. Most Americans have woken up to the reality that their busy life would not give any time to domestic services. As a result their homes are left unattended and not exactly neat and tidy as they want them to be. This gives rise to the home cleaning business, where the home cleaning services could be outsourced to people like you.

Investment:

Less than $100.00 up to more than $10,000. It all depends on the type of cleaning you are going to do. Carpet cleaning and sofa and wall cleaning will require expensive equipment that you will need to rent or purchase. On the other hand, general house cleaning can be started using the cleaning supplies you probably already own for cleaning your own home.

Financing sources:

A start up business loan from the bank.
A start up business loan from government sponsored organization or a business organization. Non profit organizations support the young and dynamics for loans up to $15,000.
Government sponsored business investment programs: Self-Employment Programs started by governments are a great and safest way to start your business.
Investors: Angel investors(potential gap fillers between what you have and how much you need) and venture capitalists are other sources).

Pricing guidelines for service:

$50.00 to $175.00 and up per home or apartment. Depends on the area space, storeys, baths, attached rooms, and condition of the home.

Advertising and Marketing Methods and Tips:

Regional ads in the newspaper
Direct mailing
Brochures to complex
Inserts in local newspapers
Online ads
Community bulletin boards
Ad in the telephone directory

Essential Equipment:

Sponges, buckets, spray bottles, vaccum cleaner, towels, SOS pads, cleaning supplies, mops, disposable rubber gloves, toilet brush, squeegee, old clothes etc.

Income potential:

$90,000.00 a year and more. It all depends on how you delegate the work and have people working for you. If you clean three homes and charge $120 for one, that means $360 per day and $7,740 per month working 5 days a week (average figure).

Target market:

Anybody who spends more than 40 hours away from home would not have the time on his hands to maintain the home like the way he wanted to. With women also working away from home being the norm, home cleaning services are more in demand than ever before. Single parents, working couples, professionals and elderly who are not up to doing the cleaning themselves are prime prospects.

Success tips:

Confidence, have a general aptitute and attitude towards cleaning, and a sincere desire to be sensitive to people.

Training, skills or experience:

You can start this business as a supplement to your existing job or profession. No experience required, just an aptitude to make it big and help people maintain their homes clean and chic.
