A Work From Home Business Success Story

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Running a successful home business may be everyone’s dream. Imagine waking up in your underwear, relaxing in front of your computer with some hot coffee, and spending a few minutes checking on your profitable online business. But for many people, that scenario is more than just a dream; it is reality! Work from home business success is achievable by anyone with the right mindset.

Two years ago I was working a dead-end job with $50,000 of student debt. I always had a problem with authority, but I had bills to pay so there seemed to be no other alternative. But I longed for the day when I could work for myself and startup a business of my own.

I studied and read all I could, and eventually mapped out a plan for starting my own online home business. I quit my job, and one year later I was debt free! Here’s a general overview of the idea I had that helped me survive my abrupt unemployment and work from home for business success:

I had an interest in fitness and nutrition, and had an idea for a simple combination of two ingredients that always seemed to be taken together, but always sold separately. I did some market research online, for free, and tried to find out whether or not demand existed for my hypothetical product.

Indeed there seemed to be, so I started a simple website, found a manufacturer and started up my first batch. I began doing cheap marketing and advertising online until I was able to build up a customer base, and the rest is history!

Working from home and starting your own successful home business is not a matter of being a financial wizard with a PhD. In fact all it requires is willpower and determination. Success depends upon your ability to overcome hardship and obstacle. As long as you are willing to take that first step and keep going until your home business succeeds, you will achieve your dreams.

So if you are interested in working from home, starting up your own business, or being successful in general, I encourage you to check out all the wonderful resources available to you online. With just a few hours a week of work and study, you too can be up and running your own successful home business. Work from home business success is truly open to everyone!

Learn To Make Money Online As A Hobby

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Many people have a hobby or passion. A hobby is fun, and bring comfort, It is something that the individual enjoy doing.

How about learning to make money online as a hobby? If you are interested, all it takes is a computer and a Internet connection. there are many choices to choose from, but I am going to suggest, affiliate marketing as a hobby for making money online to you.

It is a method of earning income from advertising a merchant product or service. In return, when a sale is made, the merchant will paid you a commission for generating the sale.

Some hobby can be expensive, that is not the case with affiliate marketing. This hobby has no or little overhead. For example, as a affiliate marketer, you have no inventory to carry, you do not need a product, nor a website to get started, and all money transaction are handle by the merchant.

As you you can see, it is and easy hobby to start. Next you have to choose which product’s to promote
and you can make that choice from a resource call www.clickbank.com . You have the choice of choosing from 10,000 products.

From this resource you will find many products and services for your hobby to advertise. You can search for a product by keywords like vitamin or software or category. In order to advertise the product or service of your choice, you need to join by signing-up, it is free and clickbank will create a link for you to use in your promotion.

From this link you will earn commission when it is click, and when a sale is made. From this point all you need to do is to advertise, in order to drive traffic to the website, you are promoting.

One way of approaching this, is a advertising system that is call paid per click. It is when you advertise through the search engine like Goolge and Yahoo.

You set-up a account, then you are taken to a page where you write your ad, then to a page to set-up your keywords. Simply, these are the words people type in the search engine. You want to choose keywords that is related to your online business.

Then to a page where you set-up for the amount of money you are willing to pay when the link in your ad is click on. Then your ad is run by the search engine.

Another method of promoting, is call, writing article. you write and article, usually the subject is relating to your online business, then you summit it. Your article then goes through the network, and get pick up by Web Master, looking for content to use, and by people who enjoy the subject of the article. The process is simple, but has it advantages. Your article will have embedded link that point back to the merchant page, some article directory do not allow you to use affiliate link in your article, so please check first.

If you happen to have a website to promote the merchant product, the embedded link in your article, will help in building back link’s, and this will help your website position in the search engine. Writing article and summiting it is free, so that makes it cost effective, and a good method for generating traffic.

So you see, learning to to make money online as a hobby is fun and easy, with little or no cost. As a hobby it can be a challenge, but like all hobby’s, it will bring enjoyment.

Want to Make Money From Home? Part 1

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

Want to make money at home with your computer? This is part 1 of how to make money from your home with your computer and internet. I will show you exactly what to do and your success will only depend on one thing, yourself! I know that what I am going to share with you works. You will not need a lot of money, but you will need some. The main aspect of your success will be you, not your wallet. The way that I make money on-line is with google adsense. What is google adsense? Basically I create websites and place other people’s ad’s on my website. I create a content website and place ad’s that I get at google adsense. When visitors come to my website and click on any of the ad’s, I make money. I earn a very respectable income doing this on a part time basis. It took me less than 1 year to replace my J.O.B. income and I did it with hard work and very little money. That is how it works. Make a website, place ad’s on it, advertise the site to get visitors, make money. It is really that simple, but there is some work involved. As you get more experienced it becomes incredibly easy. Let’s get started.

In part 1, I want to discuss with you the tools that you will need to decide on before you even start building websites for money. The first thing I would like you to think about is, what are you passionate about? The easiest way to make this business successful is to enjoy it. I want you to think of your passions and make websites about them. One of my passions is making money, so I made a website all about how to make money online. It was very easy because I enjoyed doing it. Even when I was frustrated because things were not going as planned, I knew everything would work out because nothing was going to stop me. I was passionate about the subject at hand. It makes an incredible difference. Think about your passions. Write them down and later, make websites about all of them. You can do this at anytime, if you come across an idea, write it down. One thing you will find is once you get started and get more experience, you will want to create as many websites as possible.

The second tool I want you to look at is, how you are going to create the websites? You will need to get website creation software. There are several out there such as Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage. Those two are the most popular to me. If you already have one, great if not, you will have to get one and learn how to use it. Your second assignment is to get a software program that will allow you to create your own websites. Many website hosting companies will create websites for you. This can get fairly expensive, but if you have the money you may want to look into this option. I feel that you will be better off doing it yourself. It is not as easy but you will learn something new and be in full control of your sites. You will know how to change and update them and have the satisfaction of knowing that you did it yourself. Accomplishing a goal feels great. Learning how to do something well feels great. Knowing that you did it yourself is a reward you will be incredibly proud of. Look at all the different programs and find one that you want to work with.

That is all for now. I will have more information in part 2. If you would like some more information feel free to visit my website.

Bouncy Castle Hire Business - Why Start One?

Bouncy castle hire business - the rewards

Hiring out a bouncy castle or another type of inflatable for children’s or adult’s parties can be a highly profitable and enjoyable business that won’t take up much of your time, or cause you sleepless nights. As an example of the financial rewards that can be yours, if you were to operate only three bouncy castles on part time hire at weekends, with each bouncy castle going out at around £65 per day, you could bring in £390-400 per weekend, amounting to £1,690-£1730 per month gross. With business expenses at around £200 per month, you could end up with a net profit of around £1,500 a month. And this is from just a few hours work a week.

A part time business run from home

Many successful bouncy castle hire businesses operate from home and are run by people doing full time jobs during the week. To run the business you only need to devote a few hours to it each week, and you won’t need to make a huge financial investment to get things started. The bouncy castle business is ideal for home operation: you only need to be available to deliver and collect the bouncy castle at the end of the day, and have somewhere to store your deflated bouncy castles when they are not in use.

But will there be enough demand to make the bouncy castle business worth while?

Of course there are no guarantees in business, but keep in mind that children have birthdays every day of the year, and every year there are more and more children out there. Adults are pretty fond of bouncy castles too. Hire for parties in back gardens will be good in the summer and autumn, and in the winter and spring, hire for indoor parties, for example, in community halls, or church hall, will ensure that your bouncy castle business runs all year round. The truth is that competitors often find that demand for bouncy castle hire exceeds supply — especially in the summer months. There is normally plenty of room for everyone to operate in a medium to large sized town, or city. In a busy area, you will even find rival companies passing over enquiries to each other when they are fully booked! You might even find that there are no competitor bouncy castle businesses operating in your area.

A business that can grow

Many bouncy castle hire businesses start out small, say, operating one or two bouncy castles, but then expand within a few years to operating and handful. Ten years later the business might be operating as many as twenty. However, remember that how big you grow is largely up to you.

MLM Opportunities - Why Do Companies Need You?

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

Perhaps I just do not understand the MLM business model, but if the opportunity is tied to the product, how can the business model sustain itself? Do not try to answer that just yet. Maybe it is because I am looking at the model from my point of view – an independent contractor providing marketing, not from the corporate point of view - a company maximizing its profit by delivering product to the public. Let’s look at multilevel marketing from the view point of the company first. I will focus on the ‘independent representative’ point of view in subsequent articles. Why do you want to know the rationale behind choosing MLM as its marketing and distribution system? If you know why the company chose MLM, then you can make a better decision with regard to your participation in that MLM.

Companies choose MLM for various reasons:

Save the cost of private stores - associated payroll, inventory, marketing and management expenses.Move the responsibility for advertising and other marketing activities from the company to the MLM organization.Avoid ‘in store’ competition with similar products from rival companies.Minimize advertising expense. Company only responsible for support items as need by the MLM. Effectively transfer advertising cost from company to MLM and the independent representatives.Utilize word of mouth advertising through MLM representatives. To break into personal product markets where referrals from individuals are more important. To break into markets which are controlled by major corporations. The issue here is restricted access to distribution channels and advertising media. To break into markets with innovative products which will not be allowed access into the regular product distribution channels.

In summary the main reason for choosing MLM can best be stated as a transfer of advertising and marketing responsibility from the company to the MLM representatives. The control over the content of that advertising often remains with the company even though the MLM is responsible for the cost. All too often, it is an ‘eat your cake and keep it too’ situation for the company.

With the advent of online direct shopping, catalogue sales and discount stores like Costco and Sam’s Club, there are many traditional marketing approaches available. Why multilevel marketing? Most MLM compensation plans work on total theoretical payouts of at least 50%. That means that the product producing company only keeps 50% of the product sales price. Do you believe that Costco, Sam’s Club, and WalMart operate on gross margins of 100%? Do you believe that they double their product costs to establish the retail price? To understand the MLM business plan, let’s compare the cost to the ‘product company’ for the different distribution models: brick and mortar stores, online stores, MLM programs.

When you are talking about specialty items and fashion items, I think that the stores do operate at higher gross margins, perhaps even higher than MLM companies. In specialty markets one must consider many other factors. Stale inventory and inventory investment are two large considerations in MLM, the inventory requirements with most MLM has now been eliminated and replaced by drop shipments. There are still thousands of garages full of water filters and vitamins from the 80’s and 90’s.

If you go back to the root issue, then ask yourself why the MLM company needs you to sell the product. The final thought on MLM companies seals the fate of most in my opinion. Why should a MLM company require that you make a minimum purchase monthly? I know – Be a product of the product – I have heard all the slogans. Ask MLM companies to provide you with sales statistics which reveal the percentage of sales which are made to their captive representatives versus actual product users. Ask them to take the top 2% of the money earners out of the total and report the average income per representative for the remaining 98%.

I will not go as far to say that all MLM are just pyramid schemes and basically frauds. But everyone interested in this type of home based business must evaluate the pitch and ask this question: “Am I being sold a dream or a business opportunity?” “Am I being subtly coerced into buying products and a home based business by friends or family which I was not seeking and I do not need?” “Am I being manipulated because of my dreams of self employment?” “Are the promises of the pitch realistic, big houses and fast cars?”

One last comment, if the pitch includes ‘no selling’ or ‘we will build it for you’, then pass on it immediately. The question to ask is “Why do you need me?” The challenge is to evaluate the answer by eliminating the flattery, the dreams and the promises.

7 Tips For Choosing The Best Home-Based Business For You

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

If you are looking for the best home-based business for you, then you have probably already come across amazing promises and extraordinary hype. How can you know what is real and what is a scam?

There are different types of home businesses you can consider, however the best home-based business for a novice is a good network marketing program with a solid company that has a good track record and ethical product. The difficulty is finding the right company and product for you and avoiding those companies that really only see you as another person to purchase and sing their praises. It has been noted over time that many network marketing companies run their show like good old-time religion and, unless you want your business to control your life, you might want to avoid them.

Here are 7 tips to help you choose the best home-based business for you:

1. Does The Company Have A Good Reputation? The internet is spawning new businesses by the minute. Anyone can put up a shingle on the net with little capital behind them. It is not that difficult to present a polished image that has no real substance. So it is very important to do your homework. How long has the company been in business? Research the background
and achievements of the management team and also look for bad press. What are the complaints? Do an internet search using the company name plus scam or fraud. If you get a lot of matches, consider that a red flag and avoid the company. A news search can also reveal important information about the company.

2. Is The Product Genuine, Ethical, Of A High Quality And Needed Regularly? Is there credible, documentary evidence proving the quality of the product? Do customers commit to use and re-order the product monthly? These questions are very important to help you decide on the best home-based business for you. If a product is in high demand and needs to be re-ordered monthly, then it offers an excellent business opportunity. This is particularly apparent with health products such as mangosteen juice.

3. Entry Costs. How much does it cost to sign up for the business? Is this payment refundable? What guarantees are given by the company? Do you have to purchase a starter kit containing products or is everything done via the internet and brochures etc? There are enough network marketing companies that have a low entry cost, so you really do not need to take
the risk with high entry fees. Apart from the entry costs, it is important to consider the overall start up costs. Do you have to pay for advertising, stationery, training or anything else in order to start earning income? Opt for a program with minimal start up costs because this means minimal risks.

4. Conditions Of Earning. Some companies require you to
personally spend a certain amount every month in order to qualify for sales commissions. You need to understand these conditions before signing up. If your purchasing requirements are for example, $100 per week, then you need to make sure you are not working just to cover your own products. Remember the whole idea is to run a profitable business. Try and find legitimate evidence of income from other people so that you know you can do it too.

5. Inventory. Does the company drop-ship directly to customers or do you need to keep inventory? This is an important consideration because if you need to purchase stock and manage a business in this way, it can be time consuming and limit your earning potential. Try to find a company that will send the product directly to the customer for you.

6. Training And Support. Choose a business that offers good training and support for you and excellent customer support for your customers. Poor customer service can undo all your excellent work to build your customer base so make sure that the company has an excellent reputation for service, not just a lot of empty promises. If possible, contact people who have
been with the company for some length of time and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of signing up with the company from their point of view. Personal recommendations and comments are a valuable source of information.

7. Easy To Do. The best home-based business opportunity for you will be easy to do. This does not mean you will not have to work at it, but it does mean the system will not be complicated and involve time-consuming tasks that do not make you money.

Before deciding on the right company for you, get an overall understanding of how their system works. It may or may not be for you.

There are many reasons people want to work for themselves and are looking for just the right business opportunity that will allow them to do this. Some may wish to work from home to be with their children, yet still need to earn an income. Others may have suffered financial reversals and need desperately to create a new income stream. There are people who are in jobs
that just do not pay enough and want to supplement their income with a home-based business opportunity. Whatever the reason for seeking the best home-based business opportunity, if you follow the tips given in this article, you have a good chance of starting off on the right foot with the best product and company for you.

Avoiding Three Obstacles to Work-at-Home Success

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

The prospect of a profitable work-at-home business is incredibly attractive. Every year, millions of people investigate and implement various moneymaking strategies in hopes of building their own successful work-at-home career. Unfortunately, most of them fail to realize a profit. Those failures can usually be traced back to one of three primary causes. Let’s look at what dooms so many ventures and how one may be able to work around those obstacles.

First, most people hate selling.

Most home-based business strategies require making sales to other people. Whether online or offline, selling is often the very foundation of these opportunities. Unfortunately, most of us don’t like to sell. In fact, many people find the process of dealing with prospects completely unnerving. It can be hard for people to conquer their distaste of sales and this leads many to give up on their dreams of operating a winning home business.

Second, most people can’t sell.

Those who can get past their reservations about selling are still unable to close deals. Even though some home business packages will claim to “teach anyone how to sell,” the ability to successfully market and to convert prospects into buyers is an art form. Not everyone is a natural salesperson and learning the tricks to successful selling can take years and years. The lack of sales skills kills many home-based ventures.

Third, most people lack time and time management skills.

All of us are burdened with long “to-do” lists. Many of those pursuing a work-at-home career do so while maintaining a full-time job, too. Home-based business opportunities can take a great deal of time to build and operate. The clock is always ticking, and twenty-four hours per day isn’t always enough time to manage one’s life and a business. Countless work-at-home plans become victims of the clock.

So, if one wants to operate a successful home-based business, they will need to get over their distaste for selling, develop top-notch sales skills, and find a way to put in late night after late night in order to make things work, right?

Well, that is one approach. However, most of those interested in controlling their own financial future would prefer to work smart instead of working hard. That’s why they seek out proven home-based business models that don’t require making sales or massive time commitments. Instead of trying to climb over these obstacles, many successful entrepreneurs have found ways to avoid them completely.

Some great work-at-home opportunities don’t require selling or staying up all night just to get things going. By finding these non-intensive passive revenue streams, one can maximize his or her chance at home business success.

Time, Mentors & Developed Skills = Full Time WAHM

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

I set out to earn a few extra bucks at home about four years ago. As a single parent I was having a tough time making ends meet, even with a full time job. I had been told that I should start a business offering desktop publishing and since I loved mixing computers and paper – I thought it was a great idea. I created a website, printed out some promotional material and waited for the money to start rolling in.

The first job offer I got was “Hey, can you make me a website like yours?”

The first business lesson I learned is that it isn’t enough to want to do something – you’ve got to connect with people who want what you want to do! Within three months I had scrapped the desktop publishing business and revamped my website to offer web and graphic design.

And so began my business learning curve – one that will never end! In the last three years I’ve had the opportunity to study internet marketing from the ground up. Do you know how many different ways there are to earn an income from home using the internet? If this conjures up thoughts of shady late night infomercials promising $50,000 effort free paychecks – let me just say that that is nonsense. Scams run rampant and anything that promises easy money is not to be trusted.

There are real, honest, ethical ways to earn money online and anyone with serious determination and some basic skills can tap into the opportunities that exist. I found that by plugging into an online community made up of other Moms like me and carefully choosing a mentor who was several steps ahead of me with her business, I was able to sort through the hype and make good choices.

This past winter I was able to give notice to my day job and come home full time. I had more than replaced my income and knew it was time to let the safety net go and take a leap into full time Mom Entrepreneurship. My son loves having me home and I enjoy the freedom that comes with setting my own schedule.

If you take a good look at my short story here - you’ll see that it took me four years, lots of encouragement and a trusted mentor to make it happen. If you would like to make staying home a reality, there’s no time like the present to get started.

Using Agloco To Fund Your MLM Business

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

The surest way to keep a new associate is to get them making money immediately - either inside OR outside of your primary MLM business. There are two reasons new recruits quit - lack of money and lack of prospects.

So how does Agloco fit into your MLM success?

What I am recommending is really a two part strategy. The first part is for your current prospects, and the second part is for you team.

For your prospects: I am all about making money from my prospects even if they don’t join my primary opportunity. This allows me to expand my advertising and generate a nice little profit each month for some fun money!

What I do is put an email in my auto responder series that funnels all my prospects to my Agloco landing page. Once they join up I then help them further to see that this is just one of the ways that my team makes money on the internet.

For your team: I recommend that every new associate join your Agloco system. As your team grows so does your Agloco team. It also is a way for your new associate to get plugged into something that can begin to build some income for them as their primary business grows.

“But I don’t have a team yet!”, you say… not a problem, simply sign up for Agloco and then send a few emails to your upline explaining the system and why it makes sense for their team to join up today. Be sure that your own Agloco link is in the email. Then when they push it to their teams after they sign up, all those new members will be in your Agloco downline!

Build your MLM business by giving your team the power of internetmlmpro.com/ag/ Agloco!

The Fly & The Window Of Opportunity

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

One afternoon after going through a small backlog of emails, I was daydreaming about how it shouldn′t be tough for absolutely anyone out there to make that first online sale and then to go on and make more and more sales. I feel bad for people that have paid money for some of the programs out there that promise to “stuff their wallets effortlessly” only to find that there is no free lunch. No autopilot riches.

As I was daydreaming, I was watching a fly banging it’s head into the window trying to get out. That fly wanted to get out of the confines of the house and get outside to enjoy the early Ontario spring day. No matter how hard the fly tried, or how hard it banged into the window, that fly was trapped in the confines of our house.

The fly’s desire to break free to a better world drove it to the glass. Little by little that fly was beating the life out of itself against my window. Futilely attempting to break out of the world it was confined to.

No matter how hard it tried, there was no way that the fly was going to break through the glass and obtain its dream.

After a while the fly stopped trying and just sat on the window. Was it content to just look at the freedom it could not achieve? Or was it stunned from the repeated beatings that it put itself through to try and break free?

Without guidance, the fly was doomed to failure from the get-go as it had selected a closed window and was pouring all of it’s efforts into getting through that closed window even though we know it is impossible.

Here is the one small detail that will drive this point home. Less than 3 feet away was another window, except that one was open. That open window could lead that fly to its dream and its freedom. With just a bit of assistance and guidance, the fly was easily led to the open window and on to pursue it’s goal.

Well, this same situation holds true to most people’s dreams of finding success on the web, they are just like that fly. Constantly banging their heads into dead-end opportunities rather than flying free to building the opportunity that allows them to achieve the freedom they dream of.

But with a little bit of guidance and a helping-hand they can be led to open windows.
