Earn and Learn in your Online Home Business

Sunday, May 29th, 2005

Earn and learn in your online home business - so the headline screams!

Your interest is aroused… as earning online takes on a whole new meaning and you drift into a reverie and quietly reflect on the freedom your newfound home business will bring you.

Chances are some master marketer or self proclaimed online Guru has you pinned in his sights with this compelling catch cry, or perhaps its one of the big MLMs with its ultimate home business opportunity. And so you join up … to learn and earn. But do you?

The master may teach you much via the many technological
advances available on the internet. But how much is withheld? Do you just pick up fragments of the whole ‘puzzle’?

Does your online mentor work with you one on one and take you every step of the way by the hand, so that your success is indubitably assured and your online marketing efforts bear real fruit?

Is he working to build you a downline and then have you duplicate his marketing methods as you pass on all that you have learned.

The old maxim ‘teach a man to fish and you will feed him for life’ certainly holds true when this teaching method is imparted.

Is your mentor accessible when you need him?

So many online home businesses never get off the ground - not through want of effort or a desire to learn. The real help sougnt was simply not to be found in some ebook, online marketing course or some video broadcast! To earn more money you need to learn in the most supportive and nurturing of marketing environments. Take this away … and be assured…. you don’t EARN …….. you BURN!

Work to pass on all that you have been taught, for assuredly it will be returned to you a hundred-fold.

As you learn, ensure they learn, and that they impart to their students what they learn.

In the complimentary roles of both master and student you will then launch your online business to meteoric heights and earn an income that you can barely comprehend right now.

To follow this theme further and find out more about how and why our ‘earn and learn’ approach works, do feel free to visit our NZPCS site.

My name is Dale Calder. I live in Hamilton, (the City of Trees), New Zealand and I am married with two adult sons.

I am actively involved with NZPCS in mentoring a small group of people on a one on one basis showing them how to profit handsomely online without any out of pocket expense on their part.

Additionally,I am also a certified Worldprofit e-Business Consultant, having recently graduated from the Millionaire Bootcamp.

I would be happy to help you “find your feet” and set you on the path to internet success.

How Not To Fail In Network Marketing On A Shoe String Budget

Sunday, May 29th, 2005

My friend Mike said that, "people fail in mlm, network marketing, internet marketing, or home business opportunities for two main reasons."

1. Most people start with a shoe string budget, but since they don’t know how to effectively advertise and promote their businesses, they run out of money without having the opportunity to grow and explode their business.

2. They pitch their mlm, network marketing, internet marketing, or home business opportunities to their family, friends, and co-workers. Then they run out of people to talk to, and out of money to advertise.’ That’s a sad scenario.

The key to not fail in mlm, network marketing, internet marketing, or home business opportunities; is to implement a franchise system with a proven marketing strategy that works. Sort of like Mc Donald’s, the casinos in Las Vegas, movie theaters, and others.

For intance, do you think Mc Donald’s is in the hamburger business? How about Las Vegas’ casinos? They advertise, "what happens in Vegas stays in vegas." Movie theaters, Do you think they could stay in business by merely selling admission tickets?

Let me tell you why Mc Donald’s can afford to sell a burger for a $1 dollar. Because it knows that when you buy that extra slice of cheese, fries, and soda, it will make a huge profit margin on them.

Las Vegas casinos lure you with their entertainment advertising, but they don’t tell you that they want you to lose all your money in gambling which is where the real money is made.

The same with movie theaters, you take your family to watch a movie, and you easily spend $40 bucks in popcorn, sodas, and candies, not including the admission tickets!

Do you see what is going on here? Do you see the marketing strategy at work? If these businesses did not a have a game plan, they would go out of business or they would have a hard time staying in business.

The question that must be popping in your mind by now is, what does that have to do with my mlm, network marketing, internet marketing, or home business opportunity? It has a lot to do with it, if not all of it! The strategy is based on the ABC business model. Once you understand it and apply it to your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity__viola! Your business will explode!

What is this ABC business model, and why is it vital to your, mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity? Let’s just say that part A, part B, and part C, all three parts compliment each other.

Part A is the most important of the three parts, yet most people only use part B and C. Especially if you are advertising your business on a shoe string budget! Do you see now why people fail in business? Can your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity survive on parts B and C only? Sure it can, but it will cost you a fortune in advertising, and I guarantee it!

Part A is designed to help you fund your advertising, and generate prospects for your business.

Part B is designed to put quick cash in your pocket to pay bills or to invest to further grow your business, and part C is your long-term residual income.

How does part A help you fund your advertising so you don’t run out of money? Simple. Sell a low cost high volume item that is closely related to your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity. Something easy to sell whether you are an expert or not. It could be a nutrition product, a service, or an affiliate program, but it has to be closely related to your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity. The reason for doing that, is that it is a lot easier to sell $500 dollars in retail products than it is in building a $500 residual income, do you follow?

Just to give you a perfect example, as a network marketer, would you buy a business that is worth $1,000 to $2,000 dollars without thinking about it,or would you be more inclined to buy an inexpensive book that shows you how to be successfull with that business? If you are like me, you would buy the book and educate yourself first. A book like this would be a retail product that sells easily.

By implementing Part A which will lead to Part B and then to part C, your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity will always be up and running, and no longer worried about running out of advertising funds.

Part B in mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunities comes in the form of fast start bonuses aka "bread and butter." As you continue to implement part A it will not only fund your advertising campaings, but also will generate endless prospects for your business. Remember, Part A has to be closely related to your main business.

Do you see now why part A is so vital for your business?

When you do your advertising, vary your advertising. Do not rely solely on one form of advertising. My wise friend Mario said, "a table can not stand on one leg,(a conventional table) and neither will your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity be able survive on one form of advertising alone.

Apply this ABC business model in your mlm business, network marketing business, internet marketing business, or home business opportunity and you will never ever have to worry about running out of money,or failing in this industry again.

Paid Surveys - The Paid Survey Blueprint

Saturday, May 28th, 2005

Paid surveys are becoming ever increasingly popular nowadays with the attraction of making some quick easy money on the side. First of all let me tell you that if you think you’re going to make a lot of money from paid surveys, then pull yourself together because the chances are you’re not going to be able to quit your day job, although there have been people in the past who have done so!

What’s Involved In Filling Out Paid Surveys?

There are many companies out there that are dying to know what their market is looking for in relevance to their products and services. They turn to market research companies to organize a series of surveys that they use to work out the interests of their market.

That’s where you come into play! These market research companies need people to act as the market and so they collect a bunch of applicant’s, sometimes in the tens of thousands and pay them to fill out the surveys they have recently designed. It’s a circular system where the company pays another company who then pays the market and then the market becomes more likely to buy the products or services from the original company. Everybody wins in the end!

Most paidsurveyinspector.com″ target=”_blank paid surveys take around 15 minutes to complete and can be on any topic imaginable. The questions are always easy to answer and you will not be made too hand over any personal details.

Another type of investigation market research companies’ conduct are what they call focus groups. This is basically just a group of people coming together in an online chatroom to discuss things about products and services for a certain company. They usually go for around 30 minutes and most of the time, if you are lucky enough to get one, the payouts are much higher than from completing a survey.

How Much Money Can You Earn?

When getting into this business, try to make a goal of reaching an amount per month that would make a difference in your financial status, most people go from $1000 a month, which is definitely achievable.

The average payout for a paid survey is approximately $20. Doesn’t seem like much does it? But let’s say you complete one survey a day at $20. That’s equivalent to $140 a week and $540 a month! Then let’s say you complete two a day and you’ve surpassed that goal of $1000 a month!

Better yet, if you happen to get the opportunity to take part in a focus group, where the size of the payouts are up to $100 depending on the company you are involved in, and that could really give your monthly income a greatly needed boost!

Network Marketing: Reality Check

Saturday, May 28th, 2005

In the world of business, there are a few things to watch out for before you get involved as an owner, affiliate, or investor. These are important everywhere, but nowhere more important than for the so-called “internet newbie” who is looking for additional income and/or a better lifestyle. Hype and unrealistic promises that sound oh, so good are everywhere. Let’s pick a few of them apart. Learning to step back and think logically can be a financial lifesaver. It might even help to look at each offer and ask if you would want your kid or your grandparent or your best friend to get involved. If the answer is “NO!” then you shouldn’t, either!

The following is a list of hype and unrealistic promises that should make you think about just what is being offered. Always remember that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

1) Join for FREE! This is, I believe, a legal mandate. They can’t charge somebody to join. And if they could, they shouldn’t! This is about as meaningful as advertising that a certain brand of corn oil has no cholesterol, as if that made it better than other brands of corn oil. Corn oil is a vegetable product and cholesterol is an animal product. No matter how appealing the claim sounds, NO corn oil has cholesterol, ALL corn oil is cholesterol-free, so the claim is meaningless. “Join for FREE” is just as meaningless.

2) Make $12,000 your first week, or make $30,000 a month every month or even . . . Unlimited Monthly Income! Pick whatever dollar value and time frame you want here. It may be theoretically possible, it may be mathematically possible, (that’s how the ads avoid getting into trouble with truth-in-advertising laws) but not at all realistic. It is also theoretically possible for every child born in the United States to grow up to be President, but the likely-hood of that happening for any given kid is miniscule. The same line of logic applies to these wild promises of vast income.

3) No Sales! No calls! No inventory! No work! Spend nothing, do nothing, sit back, and watch the massive residual profits roll in! Earn Money Just Sitting At Your Computer!! GET REAL! If nobody does anything or spends anything or sells anything, where the heck is the money supposed to come from? Remember, everybody joined for free, just like you did! And no matter what they tell you and want you to think, there are no crazed drooling people running around “out there” with fists full of cash begging you to let them spend that wad of money on your latest “business venture.” It just ain’t gonna happen. Do you know anybody like that? Neither does anyone else.

4) Make $5 stuffing envelopes. Businesses have machinery that folds the paper and stuffs it into the envelope faster than your eyes can follow. Why the heck would they pay people $5 to stuff each envelope when they are mailing out hundreds or thousands of them every day? They are in business to make a profit, not keep you off of welfare, and all of this mindless, mechanical stuff is done by machinery. This is an out-right scam. You pay somebody $5 to find out that in order to get your money back you have to con some other sucker into paying you $5 so you can tell them to con yet another sucker out of $5, and so it goes. I see these on Google AdWords and AdSense often. Google should have enough integrity to refuse such ads.

5) Double your money every few hours or days. Money doublers are Ponzi schemes and illegal. The first people in might make their money back, but it comes only out of the pockets of the later arrivals. It is not mathematically possible for the last people to even break even. These scams always collapse on themselves, leaving most of the participants as losers. People who start them up are thieves, taking advantage of the financially desperate, knowing full well they will fleece the pockets of people who have little or nothing and skipping off to another internet address to do it all over again. People of integrity should avoid them because they always leave a trail of victims. If the perpetrators are tracked down and caught, they go to jail.

6) Promising to share “secrets” with you. What kind of secrets? How the “big dogs” or “gurus” make a gazillion bucks, and you can, too. Secret Strategies, Insider Secrets, Secrets of how ordinary people (like you) made megabucks and now live the lifestyle you want (usually accompanied by photos of models - singles, couples, families - at the beach, in front of a mansion, with an expensive car, etc.) Many of these “offers” are hyped in extremely l-o-n-g sales pages, which include a lot of verbiage designed to make you believe you are really losing out if you don’t take advantage of whatever they have to offer. At the bottom of the page, after telling you how much more it is worth than this, you will see a price of $97 or or even ! Sometimes you have to click on a link before you find out how much of your money they want. Either they are embarrassed to admit they are charging so much, or it’s a case of “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.” Neither is good. The sad truth is there are no “secrets.”

7) Beware of “lead capture pages” that entice you with benefits but don’t tell you a darn thing about who they are or what they do. You know; remind you of how much you hate your boss, hate your commute, hate missing out on your kids’ activities, hate being unfulfilled, hate being broke etc. They offer you the moon in exchange for your name and email address. Gotcha! If they are not willing to tell you anything about them, don’t tell them anything about you. Find something else. Many affiliates will post such pages on traffic exchanges, because they only have 15-20 seconds to get your attention, but if you do a Google search for the business you can often find out more about the company either from their own website or from posts on various forums. Find out all you can before you sign up for anything.

8) Guarantees. Some places will guarantee to get you traffic to your website. Are all those visitors surfing for credits just to get traffic to their site? Some will guarantee to get you sign-ups. Do they speak your language? Can they send money from their country to yours? If not, how will you communicate with them and how will they pay you? Some guarantee to get your website listed at the top of the search engines. Think about it. Only one site is at the top of the search engine listing for any given term. These people are promising something they cannot possibly deliver to thousands of potential customers. How are they going to get thousands of new customers into the same #1 spot????? Don’t fall for it. Some almost guarantee a certain level of income. None of them have the power to guarantee any of that or almost anything else. Some will guarantee to do something for you such as create a website, and the implication is that the money will start flowing in. They will create the website, but they cannot cause money to flow into your bank account. You will have to learn how to market whatever is on the site before you start making any money.

This is a long article but a short list. Please spend your money wisely. Don’t be in a hurry. Genuine business opportunities will still be there in 6 months and six years. Some of the garbage will be gone (with your money) in six weeks or even six days.

Working From Home - How To Stay Focused

Saturday, May 28th, 2005

I am sure at one time or other you wished you could work from home. Maybe a child was sick or you simply were burned out from rush hour traffic. You may also have felt you were not in control of your life. Working from home can give you many benefits including:

• Spending more time with the family.
• Having more control of your life.
• Control of how much money you make.
• No boss.
• Less stress.

It is very important when working from home to have a long term and a short term plan. In fact one great way to stay productive is to stop after each hour and plan what you want to accomplish in the next hour. This will keep you focused on what is most important. Have a long term target. Look within to find what you truly want to achieve and this will drive you closer to your target or goal. I prefer to think of an end result as a target. In doing this, if I do not achieve a particular goal in a certain time frame I simply shoot again at the target with the advantage of having had previous experience. The more times you try and work towards the desired outcome, or target, the better chance you have of achieving it. It may help to think of a dart board, archery or shooting targets. If you ever missed the bull’s eye you probably reacted like “let me try that again”. This will help stop any disappointment you may feel if you do not reach a desired goal.

These are some helpful things to consider while working from home:
1. Have a defined goal or target.
2. Read and listen to motivational speakers.
3. Focus on how to best help the customer.
4. Join a network of businesses in you area.
5. Be open to change and re-adjust your business plan as necessary.

Many people look into working for themselves only to find that the start up cost is way too high not to mention the cost of insurance and overhead. More and more people now own their own home based businesses. It is much easier today with the many advances in technology. Most homes already have the necessary tools to get started like a computer, fax and phone. With the incredible power of the internet your customer base is now the entire world.

The Only Way To Make Money At Home … or So They Would Have You Believe

Saturday, May 28th, 2005

Have you ever seen these ads? “Make money at home…” “The Secret Method to Online Riches…” Etc. Just send $25-$100 and it will be at your door in a week, well I′ll give it to you today, FOR FREE!

The gist is this, you take your product, which is more often than not in this “scam,” a carbon-copy of the very ad you responded to, buy a mailing list from a site like allmediainc.com and then you essentially spam several hundred people in a hope to recoup your mailing costs. The insurgence of email has caused many of the mailing list brokers to include email lists in their spam fodder products, which much to the delight of the pathetic work-at-homer, is free, and the very cause of much of the SPAM you receive EACH AND EVERY DAY!

I’m here today to tell you that there is legitimate and lucrative money to be made with this same principle, if the product is worth anything. First of all, a “Double-Opt-In” list is the only kind you should even bother with. If it is a true “Double-Opt-In” list, that means that every name on the list has not only agreed to have their name there, not only that they have agreed TWICE, but it also means they are more likely to buy your product, whatever it may be. I will now outline some of the ways that can make this campaign even more profitable for you.

Rather than dabbling in cold-reading people and sending out thousands of spam filled envelopes, how about you use your energy a little more productive manner. If you have a little bit of money to start with, and a product to sell, magazine and newspaper advertisements work VERY WELL!

A full-page ad with a coupon is essential to create a huge income. Nothing else works as well. And you must advertise in more than one publication at a time to generate the kind of numbers you want. Now, of course if you don’t have the capital to do these things right away, you can work your way up to it. All you need to do is get started…Don’t get discouraged by these words: all full page advertisers had to start with the little classified ads and then work their way up to the top! Classified advertising lets you test ideas so that, by the time you graduate to full page, you are in great shape.

You don’t even have to compose your own ad, if you don’t want to. You can bring home several opportunity magazines, select the full-page ads you like, and follow after their successful example. After all, their ads work. Of course, it is much better for you to write your own ad using the format outlined here. Write freely, change as much as you want, don’t worry about the length, and modify it five or six times or however many times it takes to feel good about your ad. Don’t worry about spelling, grammar, sentence structure, word count, font size, or anything other than the message, the other things will come with your editing later. Your goal is to tell your story in a compelling manner that makes people want to order your information! If you are completely clueless on writing, you can study up with this amazing guide… It helped me by leaps and bounds right away.

Explosive Copy Course

Well, if this entry doesn’t help you, you might as well check your pulse, because you may be dead. Take my warning now, I have bought 4 of the same exact program that I exposed in this ad to you FOR FREE! Do yourself a favor, before you send your checks to those addresses in the magazines, remember that I just gave you the same thing they will, all for free. Or course, if you are throwing your money away to those guys, you can donate some to me or this site, to find out how send me an email at jerswares@hotmail.com . And remember, www.freedummymoney.com isn’t done by any means, there are still so many “secrets to expose,” So stay tuned.

Online Money Making Myths - How to Overcome Myths and Find Success

Friday, May 27th, 2005

There are many ways to make money online. Cut through the hype and learn the truth about making money online.

Online Business Myth #1: You can quickly make large sums of money.

This statement is relative. How much is a lot of money? How fast is fast?

I know five millionaires under 30 years old. They did it in just 2-5 years. That is fast. Tradionally it has taken a lot longer to reach these levels of success. Online marketing and technology can fast-track you to success. While it isn’t overnight, it certainly is fast compared to other ways of creating wealth.

What most people mean when they talk about making money online fast, is that it’s fast compared to offline businesses. Traditional businesses take a lot of time and money to start. You have to raise capitol. You need a business plan, employees, and a product or service to sell. You also need office and/or warehouse space.

The price you pay for an online business succes isn’t as much money as it is education. The internet changes all the time. If you want to really succeed at making money you’ll have to read and learn constantly. You must become a lifetime learner.

Be sure to read ebooks, blogs and newsletters about your industry. Listen to podcasts and watch videos that relate to what you want to learn. Go to conferences and meet people who are successfully do what you want to do. Find experts and learn what has made them successful.

Online Business Myth #2: You don’t have to spend any money to start an online business.

To start out, you’ll need a computer and software. They aren’t free. You’ll also need an internet connection. There will be other costs such as paper, a printer, and yes, some advertising costs (most of your advertising will be online).

Online Business Myth #3: It’s too late to earn money online.

Other variations on this theme: We’ve reached the top and it’s all downhill from here. Or, a related idea: the people who were going to make money have already done it. Only really big or very unique ideas will work. All the other ways have been taken already.

Did you know that the biggest complaint from online merchants is not finding enough successful salespeople of their product? Affiliates promote other people′s products online. There′s an almost limitless demand for successful affiliates.

If you were an online merchant, would you say STOP! Please don’t send me any more business? As long as there are products to sell there will be affiliate programs to do it. That’s because the demand for sales is unlimited.

Online Business Myth #4: If I find the right thing, it is simple and easy to make money online.

One thing I love about affiliate marketing in particular, is that it’s one of the easiest way to make money online. Once you do the work you can make money with very little additional work. Put in time and effort at first so that in the future you can relax and make money in your sleep.

Choose something you love or are interested in. The internet is all about niches and innovation. There are endless niches. Find your niche and success will come easier and be more fun for you.

The one thing you can count on online is change. New businesses, ideas, and services are formed all of the time. But you must learn to spot good ideas and you have to work at it.

Here’s to your journey to making money online! The rewards and potential are huge. Once you eliminate the common myths and beliefs that stop you, you’ll be on your way to starting a successful business on the internet.

MLM Paradigm

Friday, May 27th, 2005

MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing. It is based on the old concept of Network marketing. Originally network marketing was used as a system to build teams of people to sell products for a company. MLM has evolved into a system that lays heavier emphasis on building a team for commission purposes. The product itself has become secondary to team building in a few companies. To make real money with an MLM business you will need to return to the basic concepts of actual network marketing.

MLM is not quite as simple as it is made to appear, you do need good social skills and the willingness to be trained and teach others. You must be able to not only recruit new team members to your sales team but also work with them and train them for success. You will require good social skills to do this and will need to work closely with your team members. Keep in mind that many of your members will be brand new to the Internet and will need a lot of encouragement and help.

They will need to learn how to do two things, how to recruit new members and sell the company’s products. MLM is all about duplication and teaching others to copy your methods of success. Recruiting can be quite tricky to begin with and you will need to develop multiple ways of doing this that your team members can copy.

To be successful you must develop a system that works for you. You can then train your team members to duplicate your success. With a proven successful system in place you will all be able to succeed and build a strong dynamic team.

You will need to be able to determine the “tire kickers” from those who genuinely want to succeed. Try to encourage serious network marketers, who love the business and will be determined to succeed. These marketers will be very useful to your team and will help you build a strong, successful team.

To help you filter visitors: Use a customized form for your website subscription form. Do not just have a place for your visitors to put in their name and email address. Have a subscription box where they can answer a couple of questions like; what business areas are you interested in? What would you like to learn about? How much would you invest in your new business? Etc

MLM is an exciting and challenging business. Many do not understand the real nature of this unique business and set themselves up for failure. However you do not have to be a statistic. Understand the principles behind this social business and you will succeed.

Building A Profitable MLM, Network Marketing Home Business

Friday, May 27th, 2005

Any new business requires an investment of capital, time and planning. You will have a much higher chance of success, working from home, if you spend time establishing yourself first.

An airplane uses most of it’s fuel at take off. Network marketing is similar. You need to put in a huge effort to get your business off the ground. If you remain consistent in your efforts your business will fly. If you are inconsistent you will be stopping and starting. You will use up so much fuel on each take off that you will burn out before you reach cruising level.

Your Business Plan

Have written goals of what you want to achieve in your business. Have time lines for when you will reach each level. From this you can write a plan of how you will ensure you reach your targets.

Follow your written plan. Draw a line down the side of your diary page. Mark non negotiable times. For example when you will do personal development, follow up calls, advertising and for how long. Stick to your time limits. Also write down the things that you must achieve for the day. This gives you a visual reminder of your Daily Method of Operation (DMO). This is a simple way to keep a daily check on your time management skills. Don’t finish work until you achieve your goals for that day. Do not compromise

Concentrate on Areas of Importance

Decide on the areas of your activity that give you the most return. Continually ask yourself “is this activity directly and positively related to retailing or recruiting? Don’t lose your self in the unimportant activities. Remember the 80/20 rule. This states that 80% of your business will come from 20% of your work, 20% of your customers will provide 80% of your sales. So it is imperative that you concentrate on the 20% and do not getting lost in the 80% that is not important. Structure your time so that it is invested where you achieve the best rate of return.

Build Your Inner Strengths

Where to Get MLM Leads

Friday, May 27th, 2005

Anyone who has ever worked in a multi-level marketing (MLM) or network marketing business knows the importance of having good leads. MLM and network marketing businesses have become a very popular way for people to earn a potentially large income. People who work for MLM and network marketing companies enjoy a tremendous amount of flexibility, and are able to set their own hours, determine how much effort they are willing to put forth, and work from home. But with all this flexibility comes increased responsibility, and individuals must ensure their own profit by finding and following through on good leads.

Distributors in a MLM and network marketing business need to find new recruits who are eager to join the business. Initially, distributors might turn to friends and family for leads. These leads can be fruitful at first, but eventually they will run out. Therefore, it is necessary to turn to other lead sources.

By doing a quick search on the Internet, distributors can find many websites promising MLM leads. Most of these sites charge a fee; while the free or less expensive sites might be more tempting, the information provided there will most likely not be very helpful.

Many MLM lead lists are created by an organization that encourages anyone to sign up as possible recruits. These potential recruits provide their name and contact information and wait for distributors to call. Unfortunately, some people might sign up on a whim, without being truly interested in joining a MLM or network marketing business. Although it is still possible to recruit these people, it can be difficult.

Other lists might be very old, and the information provided there might be outdated. When using old lists, distributors can use services such as Melissa Data (http:/www.melissadata.com/) or the yellow pages online to verify and update contact information. It is also important to check numbers with the Do Not Call Registry, since people who signed up for MLM lead lists a long time ago may have since changed their minds.

Be wary of lead lists that are sold to multiple distributors; many of the people of such lists will already have signed up with another company. Some companies, such as Ultimate Net Profits ( ultimatenetprofits.com/), provide brand new leads of people who have been screened through phone interviews to ensure genuine interest. Although these lead lists like these can be expensive, they also tend to be the most effective.
