Simple MLM v Complicated MLM
Saturday, April 30th, 2005I LOVE simple. When it’s simple, I know there’s a good chance I can do it. Heck, there’s a good chance a lot of people can do it. That’s perfect.
I love a simple product … ideally, it would be just about self-explanatory. One look and BINGO!! They get it. Everything is clear. No explanation necessary.
It’s especially wonderful and simple when it’s a really, really hot repeat-order product in a HUGE, desperate market … and you can afford to give out free samples! Man-oh-man! That’s like taking candy from a baby, when you have a set-up like that.
And then there’s the business. I want that simple, too.
I’d like to be able to say to someone, “Hey, look! You can give out free samples just like I do. People LOVE this thing! Just give out one or two samples a day. And all you need is ONE person a MONTH to decide they′d like to do the same thing … and you can be earning $10,000 a month in less than a year.”
Whooeee! That is really simple. That is exactly the type of MLM set-up I’d like to be able to promote, because it would be easy to do a retail business and it would be easy to find that one new distributor a month.
What I hate is when it’s all complicated, when you have a widget that takes several pages - or a bunch of my time - to explain it. It’s almost like you have to justify your widget’s existence. It’s no fun when your prospect looks at it with a totally blank expression on her face.
I want instant recognition from everyone!
I don’t want a product that only a “widget techie″ can appreciate and love. I want them to say, “Holy mackeral! This is incredible. It’s just what I’ve always wanted!”
Not … “Oh, sorry. I’m late. Gotta go get my root canal now.”
I hate it when you tell ‘em the price and they let out a deep, deep breath. That deal is not simple MLM. It’s going to be very complicated and take a lot of time. And I know that if they think it costs too much, this is one network marketing business they absolutely will never do.
MLM is so much easier when you can give out a free sample. If you can’t give out a free sample, it’s SO much harder.
I hate it when someone looks at the compensation plan and thinks, “Heck! I’d have to sponsor 10 people a month to make any money with this.” Only the pros can sponsor 10 people a month … and plenty of them can’t do it, either!
I want a simple MLM where if you sponsor just ONE person a month - and train that person to do the same - you can be making over $10,000 a month in less than a year. Anything else is too complicated.
I’ve been doing this stuff a long time, and I know me.
I need a simple product and a simple system and a simple offer, something that anyone with limited abilities can look at and say,
“Hey! THAT looks like something I could do!”
Maybe your prospects are different. I hope so. But if they aren′t, you’d better not get complicated. People get so easily distracted these days. It’s best to look around and be sure you have a really simple network marketing product, system, and offer.
That’s your best bet to build a big business.
