No matter who you are, remember everyone starts from ground zero as far as experience is concerned. Building a home business is no different. Learn how to promote your business. The big companies learned this long ago or they would have never become big. If you don’t believe me look at the flyers in your mailbox or just open the paper. Advertising is the key to letting the world know that you have something that they need or want. You can not drive down the street with out seeing signs, posters, billboards, or a store window that says 30% off. Remember advertising is your voice, without advertising no one will know you exist. The louder your voice the more that will hear. Isn’t that what you want, for them to come to see what you have? Don’t whisper, scream to the world!

Now that you have brought the customers into your store whether it be a physical store or an internet site, be excited about your products or service. People love to be around exciting people. It creates an atmosphere in which sales are much easier to make. Let them know that you believe in what you are doing, in other words don’t be a fake, customers can sense this and are turned off by it. If there is a warrantee or guarantee let them know this, it will help to make the sale. Always let the customer know that you are going to be there to assist them if any problems arise.

Now you need to establish a customer database, keep in touch with your clients on a regular basis. This is important! Send them advertise-ments, inform them of new products or services that you have added to your business. These steps will help you create confidence with your clients. It is also important to ask them for their feedback and suggestions that might prove to be beneficial to your business. Remember the customer is looking from another vantage point and may be more helpful than you might imagine.

Finally, don′t be afraid of change or updating your business when needed. Times and trends change rapidly these days. Technology demands changes and requirements continually. Most of the time it is to our advantage to change with it so that we can meet the needs of an ever changing world and customer demands.

Just as computers and software demands are changing, so are the needs of your clients. The world is always moving and so must you to keep your business healthy and prosperous. By following these basic rules and using good old common sense you can and will have an enjoyable and rewarding business future. You make your own future…so make it bright!

You will have seen the advertisements on the internet if searching on ways to make money. ‘Make money whilst sitting in your pyjama’s’, ‘Make hundreds each week’ etc.

These are the sort of adds that gets your mouth to water and that is exactly what happened to me, I fell for the ads, hook, line and sinker and splashed my cash to join one of the companies.

I soon found out that what they were saying was a tad over exaggerated. I was disappointed at first but I soon realised there’s no use crying over spilt milk and got to work on making some money.

I do not regret spending the money on getting information on all the survey companies I could join as all the information is there for you straight away, you don’t have to spend hours searching through a search engine. Another good thing about the database it that it tells you important information which can save you time:

Company Name
Countries of people that can join
What type of market research you will do, i.e. surveys, product testing etc.
Type of rewards you can get. i.e. money, vouchers, prizes etc.

The first thing I did was open a separate email account, I used Yahoo. I then went through the database and joined all the companies that I was able to. As I am from the UK this was not as large a number as the US but still a decent size.

I like to keep a note of everything that I do so I bought a note book and gave a page to each company I joined, I input important information like the website address, my user name and password (don’t worry I kept it safe), what type of rewards I received and then I could input the date when I got the survey and what I received as and when.

This has been good as it has helped me see which of the surveys are worth doing and which ones are not really worth my time. I must say that the more you participate in surveys, the more you are likely to receive.

Surveys can be long and repetitive but I have never had to do one that has been longer than 30 minutes, I have had to product test many things with recent products been Pringles, cornflakes and some oat bars – who can grumble at that?

I enjoy completing surveys, I get the feeling of satisfaction of knowing I may have influenced if a product gets the go ahead, I haven’t earned hundreds each month but the rewards are steady and only this week I received £16 Amazon Voucher, £30, £21 and £11 – which isn’t bad going.

Surveys aren’t for everyone but if you are wanting to make money without having to put any money forward then I would say go for it!

How do you build a rock solid downline? Support for you and
your team is vitally important. I have seen the results of

make very little or no money at all. Many do some
advertising for 30 or 60 days. Have no success and give up
in despair. They drop it and go looking for another one
that “works”. They repeat this process over and over. Have
you ever herd someone say, xyz.com is rubbish, looked
really good but I never made any money! Maybe you have said
or thought something similar!

I know that I am guilty of this. I didn’t know until I did
it five or six times that there must be something else that
is wrong

2. Get them while their hot

When people first join an opportunit’y they are excited and
enthusiastic. If people could get the help they needed at
the time they were interested and involved they just may
have had some success and with that grown a business that
works.

3. Find out how you can almost guarantee your success

It doesn’t mater how many people you refer! Just 1 or fifty
people. (fifty is better)

but…..

The only reason you are not successful in a multilevel
marketing venture is because you couldn’t help or be helped
in the task of getting your down-line a down-line. It does
not mater how many people you introduce to an opportunit’y,
it matters how many you keep;

if your down-line does not get any referrals you have
little or no chance!

Don’t despair, THE INVERSE IS ALSO TRUE!

IF you can help your referrals get their own referrals …….

Your odds of success go through the roof. Let me see if I
can explain.

4. Tale of two marketers

The tale of marketers Jim and Jill

Imagine this you have Jim the keen marketer, he spends
money on advertising and works hard to generate 50
referrals, wow that is great. But he spends no time on
helping anyone, its every man and woman for them selves
right. After 30 days 28 have dropped out, the rest follow
the second month.

Jim has to consider his position, should I spend all that
money on advertising again?

Now imagine Jill. Jill found a system that has a million
support tools and lots of assistance to get her started.
Jill found two people who signed up for the program because
Jill was able to talk about all the support she had. Jill
straight away starts to help her referrals, to teach them
how to get two people also. The training is structured to
show each person how important it is to train your two new
recruits. It takes approximately 2 weeks to train up the
new people and help them get their efforts started.
After Jill found two referrals and got them started she
continued to help every new person in her team’s
down-line. In this example Jill did not chase any more
personal referrals. After the same 60 days that was Jim’s
nightmare, Jill has 16 people in the team. Eight of these
people already have people working for them! I will say
that bit again because it is critical. Eight of Jill’s
team has down line members reducing the risk of dropout.
Think about it, if you introduce people to your opportunit′y
you will feel a responsibility to stick with it as well as
the excitement of potential growth. You have introduced
someone to this new system, you are going to give it your
commitment to prove that you were giving good advice.
If this pattern of support and motivation were to continue
for 26 weeks Jill would have a team of 8,000. 4000 of
these people will have down line members and can see the
possibility of more in the future.

Now reality is somewhere between these two examples as you
are not going to get everyon′e to participate, however, can I
just add another point. Lets say that each of the
participants were going to spend JUST $5 on advertising.
Jim and his team has a total advertising budget of
$5.

Jill and here team has a total advertising budget of
At the 8 week mark with 16 people $85
At the 26 week mark, 8192 people $40,900
Can you see the potential here?

This in part is the reason for the Success Planner, it is a

My Recommended approach

So I hope that this strikes a chord with you. Network
marketing can be extremely rewarding and is now a solid

If you are working in an office, there are some forms of discipline imposed by your employer, superiors and colleagues. However, there are no such restrictions while working at home. In fact, you have tremendous amount of freedom and flexibility to choose how and when you want to do your work. Without an adequate level of self-discipline, you will not be able to get things done on time and your work or business will eventually suffer.
